The characteristics of poetry:

Generally speaking, Xu Hun lacks conscious attention to reality and vigorous personality, and the idea of pursuing leisure and escaping from society is more prominent in his poems. Therefore, although he has also written many poems about history, such as "the elk in the desolate Taiwan fight for new grass, and the birds in the empty garden occupy shallow sand" ("Nostalgia in Gusu"), "There is no foundation in the temple, and there is no wild pool in the cemetery" ("Lingbiantai") and so on.

But when he sighed, he didn't mean to criticize. Instead, he was more depressed and lamented the changes in China, giving people a gloomy feeling. Because of this, his poems are more passive and leisurely.
