Some poems by Emily Dickinson
Emily Dickinson is a woman whose life course is extremely simple, as simple as a white dress. Wearing this white dress sewn with poetry, she walked calmly towards the tombstone with gentle steps. Later generations saw that her inscription contained only two words - remembrance.
"Wearing white clothes makes me feel like I am waiting for the white paper of the city bureau."
"I once knocked on the door of love shyly, but only poetry opened the door and let me in ."
"I will not have physical children, but I have divine comfort. God has given me different ways of reproduction."
"Poetry is like a ray of gold. The thread passed through my heart and led me to a place that only appeared in my dreams."
Such a poetic woman finally died alone in a wooden house in the countryside. She left in white and suddenly opened her previous notebook. I found these two excerpts and felt very peaceful. Share this kind of whiteness with everyone in the chaotic city and life.
