Yu Pingbo, Kang and others also published vernacular poems. On March 1920, Hu Shi published the epoch-making Attempt Collection, which is the first new collection of personal poems in the history of modern literature in China, and has been welcomed by readers. This is the first personal collection of modern poetry in history. Since then, more poets have begun to try to create vernacular poems, forming the first school in the history of China literature. The symbol of the maturity of this school of poetry is the publication of Hu Shi's Trial Collection, which is called "Trial School" of China's modern poetry by the poetry circle.
