Ode to a Tree is the most famous poem by Joyce kilmer (1886- 19 18). Kilmer is both a poet, a journalist and a literary critic. He died in the Battle of the Marne River in France in the First World War. Kilmer was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated from Rutgers University and Columbia University. 19 1 1 published the first collection of poems, Summer of Love. Yongshu was first published in Poetry magazine in 19 13, and later became kilmer's poetry collection Yongshu and Other Poems.
