This poem praises Xiang Yu's heroic spirit of refusing to live with humiliation. Live as a hero in life, die tragically, and be a hero in ghosts. Today, people still miss Xiang Yu, just because they admire his heroic spirit of choosing death rather than surrender and returning to Jiangdong with humiliation.
Be a hero among people when you are alive, and be a hero among ghosts when you are dead. Until now, it still reminds people of Xiang Yu, the overlord of Chu, whose heroic spirit of not returning to Jiangdong is touching. This poem expresses the author's feelings of remembering Xiang Yu and admiring heroes.

To be an outstanding person,
Death is also a ghost man.
I'm still thinking about Xiang Yu,
Refuse to cross the river east.

When I was alive, I was a hero in people's hearts.
Dead should also be a hero among ghosts.
People still miss Xiang Yu,
Because he refused to drag out an ignoble existence and went back to Jiangdong.
