The main tasks of the Documentation Resources Construction Department are: collecting various types of literature resources and establishing a reasonable collection system based on the school's discipline construction and development; responsible for organizing, processing, sorting and ordering the incoming literature and materials, Establish a scientific catalog system. Including: purchasing, exchanging, requesting, accepting, and reimbursing books and periodicals of various carriers; processing, classification, cataloging, catalog organization, collection, etc. It is the first step for the library to realize document services and can be said to be the library document information processing center. The circulation department office is located in Room 4-21 on the fourth floor of the main building.
The main tasks of the Book Circulation Department are: coordinating the management and loan services of each library to ensure the normal development of book circulation. The department has 6 basic bookstores and a general book return port. The basic library is located on the third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth floors of the main building and Rooms 4-34 on the west end of the fourth floor on the north side of the annex building (Note: The sixth floor of the main building is the school archives); the general book return office is located in Rooms 3-12 on the third floor. (Note: Foreign books are excluded).
The main task of the circulation department is to provide book loan services. It is the center of library reader services. It receives thousands of readers every day and makes unremitting efforts and due contributions to the school's teaching and research.
① The first library of liberal arts - in rooms 3-10 on the third floor of the main building, there are six categories of books: A, B, C, D, E, and F.
② The second library of liberal arts - in rooms 4-18 on the fourth floor of the main building, it contains books in three categories: G, H, and K.
③ The third library of liberal arts - on the fifth floor of the main building, it contains books of Category I. Including literary criticism research and literary history, poetry, rhyme, drama, novels, reportage, essays, folk literature, children's literature, and ethnic minority literature at all times and in all countries.
④ The first science library - on the seventh floor of the main building, it contains books in three categories: N, O, and J. Note: (J art books belong to the liberal arts, and are specially allocated based on the number of books in collection and borrowing volume).
⑤ The second library of science - on the eighth floor of the main building, it contains books in nine categories: P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, X, Z.
⑥ Foreign Language Library - Room 4-34 on the west side of the fourth floor of the annex building. It contains original English books, as well as more than 20,000 books in German, Japanese, French, Russian and other minor languages.
⑦The main book return office is located in rooms 3-12 on the third floor of the main building (note: foreign books are excluded). On the first and third floors of the annex building on the south side and on the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth floors of the main building. Its main job is to provide internal search and reading services for Chinese and foreign newspapers, periodicals and sample books. It is also the home base of our library’s collection of newspapers, periodicals and books.

① Newspaper Reading Room
It is located in Room 1-05, west end of the south side of the first floor of the annex building. It contains more than 100 Chinese and foreign newspapers.
② Liberal Arts Current Periodicals Reading Room
It is located in Room 3-01 at the west end of the third floor on the south side of the annex building. It contains more than 1,400 journals in twelve categories: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and Z, both Chinese and foreign.
③ Current Science Reading Room
It is located in Room 3-06 on the south side of the third floor of the annex building. It contains current Chinese and foreign journals in eleven categories: G (science and teaching), N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and X, and more than 1,000 journals.
④ Back Issues Reading Room
It is located in Room 3-08 on the east side of the south side of the third floor of the annex building (the reading department office is located in it). The database is complete and contains more than 100,000 volumes of back-issue periodicals in Chinese and foreign languages.
⑤ Liberal Arts Sample Book Reading Room - on the ninth floor of the main building. It contains books in nine categories: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I.
⑥ Science sample book reading room - on the tenth floor of the main building. It contains books in thirteen categories: J, K, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, X, Z.
⑦ Special Collections Reading Room - on the eleventh floor of the main building. It houses ancient Chinese books, Sikuquanshu, the Republic of China Series, the Historical Materials Series, the handed down collection of books, Ta Kung Pao, Shen Bao, and the Republic of China Daily.
⑧ Binned newspaper reading room - on the 12th floor of the main building. There are 22,202 bound volumes of expired newspapers in the collection. The Consulting Service Department is located in Room 1-04 on the south side of the first floor inside the west gate (the Office of the Consulting Service Department is located in it).
The Consulting Service Department is responsible for the following tasks: ⑴ Provide topic setting, backtracking, and tracking services for teaching, research, and science and technology workers, or provide services such as network retrieval, original literature retrieval, and novelty search consulting services. The method is to provide services that address difficult questions raised by readers and users, and use reference tools, retrieval documents and related books and periodicals to solve readers' problems and meet the specific needs of readers through individual services. ⑵ Responsible for the entrance education of new students, user information knowledge popularization education, reading guide, reader catalog organization management and retrieval guidance, collection resource publicity and development, library business promotion, user feedback, etc. ⑶ Responsible for the external application of new library cards and other work.
① Catalog Hall - In the main building 2-01, 2-06, and 2-023 square hall, it mainly provides readers with computer renewal, retrieval and catalog card retrieval services, and has a consultation service desk. Dedicated to answer readers' difficult questions in all aspects.
② Reference library - located in Room 4-01, west end of the south side of the fourth floor of the annex building, which contains various reference books.
③ Donated library—located in Room 4-02 on the south side of the fourth floor of the annex building, adjacent to the reference book library. Stores documents and materials such as books, periodicals, calligraphy and paintings donated by individuals. It currently has 4,370 books donated by Mr. Shi Jingyi from Hong Kong. Mainly responsible for the maintenance, management and technical support of the library's automation network system; responsible for the library Management and services of WEB services, electronic publications, and electronic reading rooms; as well as technical training and technical guidance for business personnel, software development and technical services. It has an electronic reading room and a multimedia reading room. (Note: The multimedia reading room is under construction). It is located in Room 1-49 on the north side of the first floor inside the west gate of the library (the General Management Department office is located in it).
Mainly responsible for the management, deployment and maintenance of library equipment; responsible for the cleaning of the library and the organization and management of student labor practice classes. Located in Room 1-30 on the north side of the first floor inside the east gate of the library
It is mainly responsible for the purchase, acceptance, storage, distribution, inventory and financial management of teaching materials for all students in the school. The library office is located in rooms 1-11 on the west side of the first floor inside the south gate of the library.
The main responsibilities are to send requests to subordinates, upload information to subordinates, coordinate the work of various departments and offices to provide decision-making services to the library leaders; be responsible for various fees, reimbursements, and supply of office supplies; and security and fire safety in the library. . It is the link between the work of various departments in the library. The Liaocheng University Library Branch is located on the first and second floors in the west of the office building on the East Campus of Liaocheng University. The total area of ??the building is 1,000 square meters. There are branch offices, catalog halls, and book stacks (1) on the first floor; periodical and back issue reading rooms (1) and current periodicals reading rooms (1), both reading rooms are located on the second floor. There are 160 reading seats inside. The modern equipment includes 5 microcomputers.
The main task is to be responsible for the teaching and scientific research library and information services of various departments on the East Campus. Under the leadership of the school library, it provides literature and information services on various carriers such as books, journals, newspapers, and the Internet. At present, its service targets are mainly teachers and students of the Department of Animal Science, Department of Horticulture Engineering Science, Department of Food Processing, Department of Plant Protection and Department of Agricultural Economics of the College of Agriculture. After the library is expanded and documents are added, it will serve teachers and students of the Department of Biology, Mathematics, Geography and History.
There are 12 staff members, including 1 person with a senior professional title. There are 7 people with intermediate professional titles (2 lecturers, 5 librarians) and 4 assistant librarians (including 1 assistant economist). Staff education: 1 person has a bachelor's degree, 7 people have a junior college degree, 2 people have a technical secondary school degree, and 2 people have a high school degree.
Library resources: more than 60,000 books, 3,500 back issues of periodicals (bound volumes), 285 current periodicals, 8 types of newspapers, and more than 60 bound old newspapers. Its literature mainly involves agricultural science, forestry science, animal science, horticulture and flowers, literature, computer science and other disciplines.
