Why do some Tang poems have endless meanings?

First of all, because of the blending of poetry and scenery, we can understand the meaning of scenery and emotion.

For example, in Du Fu's "Yearning for Spring", "The petals there are already like tears, and the lonely birds sing their grief". The poet transferred his feelings of worrying about the country and the people to flowers and birds. Flowers covered with dew seem to shed sad tears because they are worried about the national luck, and birds singing on the branches seem to feel regret and fear when they see people leaving the chaos. If the poet expresses his feelings directly, it seems too straightforward, but with the expression of scenery and things, readers can read without obstacles and appreciate the implicit beauty.

Another example is Li Bai's Thoughts on a Quiet Night: Looking up, I found that it was moonlight and sank again, and I suddenly remembered home. Connect homesickness with the full moon in the sky, and emotions will have concrete sustenance. This connection is caused by the characteristics of the moon, because the moon can be seen wherever you look up, and the moon in the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes reunion, so readers will feel homesick when they see the moon, and they can also feel the poet's emotions. This is an example of visualizing abstract feelings.

Second, we should understand that the so-called clarity is also refined, which is precisely the performance of superb poetic skills.

The so-called elephant is invisible, loud and happy, and it is easy to make words, but it is really difficult to return to the original. "Lonely smoke in the desert, long river setting the yen", the most common scenery and the simplest adjective, why does it make sense to arrange it? After careful study, it is found that this is not a simple word stacking, but an artistic processing. The desert is to the long river, and the solitary smoke is to the sunset. This is the opposite rhetoric. Straight and round, just geometric forms, can form a picture, so we can imagine this scene out of thin air. There are paintings in poems and poems in paintings, which is beyond the reach of ordinary people.

Of course, the artistry of Tang poetry is not based on the understanding of words, but on the meaning.
