Chen Ziang, a scholar at the age of 24, was highly valued by Wu Zetian, and later rose to have the right to clean up the mess. He joined the army twice. Chen Ziang was framed by Wu Sansi, a powerful minister, during his mourning, and eventually died in prison.
Appreciation of Youzhou Tower;
The poet had political knowledge and talent, and dared to speak and remonstrate, but he was not adopted by Wu Zetian, and was repeatedly hit, gloomy and filled with indignation. Poetry is written about the Jibei Building in Youzhou, from which sadness comes, expressing his lament that "the mountains and rivers are old and the characters are different". The language is unrestrained and infectious.
Chen Ziang's sentimental works are triggered by his own experience in real life, but their objective significance is far beyond the scope of himself and even his era, and they are universal to some extent. The sentimental feelings expressed in this poem are obviously different from the secular worries about life and death. This is a sigh in the persistent pursuit of career and life.
Appreciation of Nostalgia on Fairy Mountain;
This poem was written in the first year of hanging furnace (679), when Chen Ziang was on his way from Sichuan to Beijing. At that time, the author climbed Mount Fanshan. He didn't miss home and wrote this nostalgic poem.
"Who knows, Wan Li guest, nostalgia." The poet comes from Shushan, so he calls himself "Wan Li guest" and "Who knows", which shows the poet's lonely mood. "Wandering" means wandering with melancholy. While paying tribute to the remains, the poet remembered yang hu, Zhuge Liang and other outstanding talents in governing the country and leveling the world, promising generals and the good looks of sages and ministers who always miss the people, and hoped that such sages would be handed down from generation to generation.
