Three songs on the embankment
one
The wine flag looks at the top of the dike, and the dike disembarks to pick up the ship, and the dike goes up and down.
It's getting late, pedestrians are scrambling to pass, paddling is rolling, and the boat is full of midstream.
Secondly,
There are waves of smoke in Wangjiang, Jiangnan and Jiangbei, and pedestrians sing by the river at night.
"Peach Leaf Song" expresses love, "Zhuzhi Ci" tells sorrow, and the moonlight is boundless, just like the emotion in singing.
third
The long embankment twists and turns, the water in the embankment lingers, and the flag pavilions of the wine shops are lined up.
In the evening, apricot curtains were picked out to attract customers, and the tall ship lowered its sails and stopped on the shore.
These are three sketches of the life of the riverside residents.
The first song: the struggle between the sun and dusk
On the other bank, the wine flags are opposite, and the ships under the bank are closely connected. The "wine flag" describes the number of restaurants, indicating that there is frequent trade here. As you can imagine, this riverside pier is a bustling place with dense crowds and customers. On the one hand, the wine flag flutters in the wind on the broad levee, giving people a strong appeal and a secular life atmosphere. "Take the embankment upstairs under the embankment" is not interesting. The image is simple, the language is simple, and there are no traces of carving. A chaotic and vibrant scene on the levee immediately appeared. The first two poems show readers the complete background of genre painting in Jiangnan water town, which is written for "pedestrians strive to cross the river at dusk"
In three or four sentences, it describes the close-up scene, enhances the sense of the picture, and draws a vivid picture of crossing the river at night. "Pedestrians cross the river in a hurry at dusk" first points out the time, and then uses words such as "struggle" and "urgency" to convey the look and urgency of riverside residents crossing the river in concise language. The poet speculates on the hearts of others from the perspective of a bystander, but does not directly describe them, but reveals them in seemingly unintentional objective scenery descriptions. The phrase "the sound of sculling over the stream" describes the scenery, imitates the sound, does not describe the noise of people, and only uses the onomatopoeia word "the sound of sculling" to highlight the sound of sculling, describing the shuttle between ships, the intense work of boatmen, and writing "race against time", which makes people immersive.
Poets are very good at capturing the images of life: wine flags, terraced fields, people struggling to cross the river, the sound of rowing, the contrast between motion and static, the vivid picture, the blending of poetry and painting, and poetry is described as sound painting. However, both the picture and the emotion in it have broken through the traditional scenery description mode, with novel ideas, skillful techniques, beautiful and natural style and poetic beauty of secular human feelings.
Song 2: Moonlit Duet
It focuses on describing the customs on both sides of the Yangtze River and has strong local characteristics. The first two sentences always write the moonlight night in the song: the moonlight shines on the cold river, the night is across the river, and the smoke waves are slim. The word "smoke wave" describes the foggy night and the river scenery at night very beautifully. After the static scenery was described, it was written on the long river banks on both sides of the strait. Pedestrians came in an endless stream and songs came and went, breaking the silence of the quiet night. This scene is magnificent.
What song are they singing? The poet summed it up in the third sentence: "Peach leaves are lyrical and bamboo branches are resentful", which are all folk songs that Bashan Chu people love to sing. "Peach Leaf Song" pours out love, and "Zhi Zhu Ci" tells sadness. It is conceivable that this song will naturally arouse the "feelings" and "grievances" of the exiled and attacked poets, which is also where they are full of thoughts. The ending of this poem is exquisite and artistic. "Water infinite flow, the moon is infinitely bright" is about what you see: water and moonlight are endless, which fits the riverside and the night. At the same time, it is also a metaphor, which uses the infinity of running water and moonlight to compare the infinity of "love" and "resentment" in songs and visualize the feelings of singers. This poem is about listening with vision. Running water and moonlight are flowing and bright, which can be seen with the eyes, which is a visual feeling. But beautiful and moving songs can also give people a smart and beautiful artistic feeling, and both of them (referring to vision and hearing) can cause "synaesthesia". This description has created a beautiful artistic realm and produced a good aesthetic effect. The scenery of the whole poem is harmonious with lyricism, with deep and sincere feelings and beautiful scenery.
The third song: welcoming guests in the restaurant
The long causeway fills the air, the river lingers, and the restaurants on the long causeway are lined up in turn. Sunset, apricot curtain fluttering, ship estimation, sail falling. This poem never gives up carving, but uses simple lines to describe the vitality of the dock and the frequent exchanges of ships, which is true, vivid and natural.
In short, these three poems are vivid and harmonious, fresh and meaningful, picturesque; It has a strong local flavor and life flavor, which is the result of Liu Yuxi's study of folk songs.
