Creative background:

On July 7th, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl met. This legendary and beautiful love story has made poets of all ages chant and made lonely people ecstatic.

About 77 years old (853), on the night of the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, the poet looked up at the sky and thought of the reunion of the cow and the girl. He couldn't help thinking of his beloved wife's early death, so he wrote this poem to mourn her.

Appreciate:

In the first two sentences of this poem, the poet looked up at the sky on the evening of July 7 and remembered the beautiful scene where the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl met in the sky: the Weaver Girl had crossed the river and left the Phoenix Cave to meet the Cowherd.

After completing the task of filling the river and paving the road, all the black magpies retreated. The poet can't help but think of his beloved wife's early death, and he is the only one left in the world and will never see her again, so the poet sighed deeply in the last two sentences.

I long to see my dead wife once a year, just like the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. Among them, the word "fighting for the general" in the third sentence is written about the extreme lament of the separation of the dead wife and heaven, which shows that the death on earth is not as good as the meeting in heaven, and clearly expresses the feelings of mourning.

The author introduces:

Shang Yin (about 8 13- about 858) was born in Xingyang, Zhengzhou (now Xingyang, Henan), and his ancestral home was in Hanoi, Huaizhou (now Qinyang, Jiaozuo, Henan).

A famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty was called "Little Du Li" with Du Mu and "Wen Li" with Wen. Li Shangyin was one of the few poets who deliberately pursued the beauty of poetry in the late Tang Dynasty and even the whole Tang Dynasty.

He is good at poetry writing, and parallel prose has high literary value. His poems are novel in conception and beautiful in style, especially some love poems and untitled poems are touching, beautiful and popular.

However, some poems (represented by Jinse) are obscure and inseparable, and there is a saying that "poets always love Quincy and hate that no one writes about Jian Zheng".

In the second year of Tang Wenzong (837), Li Shangyin became the first scholar, and served as secretary of the provincial school, bookkeeper of the school and commander of Hongnong. Because he was involved in the political whirlpool of "the dispute between Niu and Li", he was excluded and frustrated all his life.

In the last years of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (about 858), Li Shangyin died of illness in Zhengzhou and was buried in Xingyang, his hometown. It is also said that he was buried in Yongdian, Huaizhou (now Wangzhuang Town, Qinyang Mountain) at the foot of Qinghua Beishan, whose ancestral home is Dongyuan.

There are about 600 poems handed down by Li Shangyin, among which the themes of current politics are directly touched, accounting for a considerable proportion. Li Shangyin's epic has made great achievements. They are by no means "sentimental thoughts about the past".

It is also different from the predecessors' poems, but focuses on taking history as a mirror, borrowing political events, criticizing the current situation and supplementing it, so that poems on history become a special form of political poetry. Untitled poetry is Li Shangyin's unique creation.

Most of them take the lovesickness of men and women as the theme, with faint artistic conception, full of twists and turns of feelings, beautiful words, pleasant tone, which can be dense and dense, and makes people sad to read. The childhood environment and education make Li Shangyin's world outlook basically belong to the Confucian system.

His attitude towards life is to actively join the WTO and eager to make a difference. At the same time, he can think independently, and he has long dismissed the preaching that "learning Tao must seek the ancients and learning literature must learn", and even put forward such a bold idea that "Confucius is nothing more than virtue, benevolence and righteousness".
