I love you, chrysanthemum
In the plant kingdom of the four seasons, there are thousands of flowers, plants and trees, but I have a special liking for chrysanthemums.
In the early autumn of last year, my father, who loves flowers, brought back more than a dozen chrysanthemums for us to enjoy. ah! Those graceful chrysanthemums are so beautiful! Some are like mountain water, stretching out from the core of the flower, meandering straight down; some are like a golden ball, with petals tightly wrapping the core of the flower; some are layered on top of each other, with starry chrysanthemums connected together. Whether it is a single branch or a piece of chrysanthemum, it has its own unique beauty.
What amazed me were the golden chrysanthemums and pagoda chrysanthemums. The petals of golden chrysanthemum are thick and numerous, layered on top of each other. The petals in the middle are closely clustered together, and the outermost petals stretch out slightly, like several petite hands. The color is yellow-green, and against the backdrop of green leaves, it looks more delicate and quiet, like a shy little girl. The grafted pagoda chrysanthemum has various kinds of chrysanthemums blooming on one flower. They are thin at the top and wide at the bottom. They are really like pagodas. There are small white single-petal chrysanthemums on the flower branches, and some petals are like crabs with hooks. Chrysanthemums, as well as golden, purple, and many unknown chrysanthemums, are really dazzling and dazzling.
Chrysanthemum not only attracts me with its beauty, but its spirit also deeply educates me.
In the late autumn of that year, I was only in the fourth grade and about to study for Level 2 Excellence. When I first got the book, I couldn't understand anything. It took a long time to look up each word one by one. When could I finish memorizing nearly a thousand words? Later, I backed down and just wanted to pass the Level 2 exam. After a while, my father noticed my shrinkage, pulled me to the dozens of lush chrysanthemums, and said sincerely: "Kang'er, look at how lush the chrysanthemums are. The severe frost has fallen, but they can withstand the frost." The cold wind blooms, how worthy of praise!" Dad looked at the chrysanthemums and then at me. I was smart enough to understand my father's intention. I determined to learn from Chrysanthemum's spirit of advancing despite difficulties, and made a plan. I memorized words and did exercises every day. The book was full of my dense notes. On the day of the exam, I worked on the questions carefully, checked carefully, and finally passed the Level 2 Excellent Test with excellent results and obtained the certificate.
If it weren't for chrysanthemums, how could I have achieved such results?
Chrysanthemum, I love you! I love your beauty, and I love your spirit even more! I will keep it in mind when I overcome difficulties and advance!
