Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, has been to Hanyang twice, once in the 28th year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and once in Jiangxia when Tang Suzong returned to Xunyang in the 2nd year of Gan Yuan.

Legend has it that there is Li Bai Temple in Langguan, Hanyang, and Taibai Building is here. Li Qunyu climbed the Taibai Building and wrote this poem in memory of Li Bai.
