I like the river in my hometown.

There is a river in front of my house.

I remember when I was a child, my mother took me to the river to play. I pointed to the rushing water and asked curiously, "Mom, where did so much water come from?" Mother smiled and said, "This is the Tuhai River. Who flows eastward into the sea? " Since then, the name "Tuhai River" has been deeply imprinted in my mind. I am like a small tree on the shore, growing with the flow of the river.

Spring has come, and I have seen the reasonable ice and snow melt, and the branches of weeping willows by the river have sprouted. Slowly, the pink peach blossom also sticks out its branches. Swallows fly from the south and fly freely on the clear water. After school, we took part in a grand flower party and danced and sang on the new green beach.

Summer is coming, and the scenery on both sides of the strait is more beautiful. The riverbank is shaded by trees, and the floodplain is full of fruits and vegetables. After school, we sometimes go swimming in the river. When you are tired of swimming, go to the melon garden to eat melons. Crispy melon with white skin and melon with flower skin are delicious. Sometimes we will help my mother wash clothes in the shade of trees on the shore until dusk to send away the heat of the day.

Autumn has come, the fish and shrimp in the river are fat, and the apple trees on the shore are gone. In autumn holidays, I always like to go to the orchard with my grandfather. Happy, I ran to the river to catch fish and touch shrimp. The river reflects a smiling face, and the autumn wind plays a harvest movement.

Rivers in winter are not lonely. Facing the snowflakes flying all over the sky, we went skating in the river together, which was very lively.

I love the river in my hometown, and I love her all year round. I love endless flowing water, I love the beautiful scenery on both sides of the strait, and I love that she moistens the world on the shore with a trickle and brings people the joy of harvest.
