The third way of expression in the Hermit Sanqu is to describe the dangers of officialdom, bluntly mention the bumpy official career, and express the sigh of retreat. Such works by the Sanqu writers of "Shu Hui Cai Ren", because they have no experience of officialdom life, therefore, the officialdom situations described in their works are the product of their subjective imagination, and they only use the imaginary officialdom to express their own thoughts. The attitude towards life expresses the joy of reclusive life. For example, Qiao Ji's "Missing Title" by [Nanlu Yujiaozhi]:
Youth has passed by in vain, and the autumn frost on the temples is getting more and more early. Sitting with a hairpin and pen strategizing, worrying is like a comfortable nest. Yellow dust and black sea are endless
Waves, green robes and locust trees are thousands of goods. It is difficult for the world to get rid of this golden shackle and jade lock. Ask me, brother, are you saving money? Clap your hands and laugh
Hehe. Wear a sleeved shirt to tune the puppet, and wear a set of sleeves to push the sun. Now I spend all my free time, and I am free.
Qiao Ji was impoverished all his life and had no chance of becoming an official. The image in the work describes being an official as a "golden shackle and jade lock". Officials are like puppets and servants who can be manipulated by others. These understandings of people driving animals to grinding are completely perceptual. The overt and covert struggles in the officialdom and walking on thin ice are obviously not as profound as those written by officials and scholars. The author uses the perceptual description of the officialdom to deny the pursuit of fame and fortune and express his own aspirations.
