My lovely hometown, Yizheng, is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, bordering Nanjing in the west and Yangzhou in the east. Yizheng is a small place, but I still love my hometown.
The streets in my hometown have changed a lot. In the past, roads were very narrow, which brought inconvenience to pedestrians and often caused traffic jams. My hometown becomes rich and beautiful, which is my greatest wish. Unexpectedly, not long after, the old houses were demolished, new houses sprang up, my hometown became rich, and the roads were spacious and bright. I am very happy.
There are many flowers beside the street, which not only beautify the environment, but also make our city present a vibrant scenery. There are many pedestrians on the road, but the traffic is not blocked. You see, there are no stalls, and the road has become like a long dragon, very neat and beautiful.
My hometown is building the expressway along the Yangtze River, the industrial park along the Yangtze River and the Ningqi Railway, and also building and developing several scenic spots, such as Liuji Forest Park and Yuetang Dengyuehu Park.
I cross the workers and peasants bridge to go to school every day. In the past, because the bridge was very narrow, pedestrians and vehicles were inconvenient. Now that the bridge has been rebuilt, it has become wide and high. According to the nature teacher, there is still a lot of knowledge about bridge building.
Go on down, and you will reach the Drum Tower. There is a music fountain in the center of the civic square of the Drum Tower. The fountain is very beautiful with the music. Many children play here and arch the arc drawn by the fountain. I couldn't help arching. When I arched the fountain, I only heard a bang. It turned out that I fell.
