Trapezoidal floating on the water, lotus leaves swaying in the wind,
Deep in the lotus, the lotus picking boat flies briskly.
The girl picking lotus meets her sweetheart.
I want to say hello to him but I'm afraid of jokes.
He bowed his head and smiled shyly.
Inadvertently, the Hosta on her head fell into the water.

This poem describes a shy modal and shy psychology of a girl picking lotus. The first two sentences describe the graceful lotus leaf dancing in the wind, and the boat flying from the depths of the lotus flower, and the picture is full of movement. The last two sentences turn to character description. When a girl picking lotus meets a lover, she just wants to talk but is afraid of jokes. Stop. She bowed her head and smiled shyly. She didn't want to be careless, and the Hosta on her head fell into the water. The poet grasped the expressions and details of the characters and described them carefully. A bold, shy and bright image seems to be in front of us.
In an era when men and women are taught not to kiss, it is not easy for a little girl to have courage. In the past, three obedience and four virtues and feudal ethics bound people, but now it is unimaginable.
But then again, the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River have always nurtured these passionate and unrestrained children, such as Li Qingzhao and others, and they are even more enthusiastic about the children of the rivers and lakes.
This poem uses old Yuefu poems to describe the love between men and women, the shy expression of a girl who wants to talk and bow her head, and the detailed description of scratching her head and falling into the water are all natural and realistic and meaningful.
