Kunlun Mountain is heavily guarded all the year round. What's the secret in it?

In 743 AD, Li Bai, who had been frustrated for half his life, finally went to Beijing the year before last to work for Hanlin. It seems to be favored by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, but in fact it is just a vain work ordered to write poems. But for Li Bai, this is better than most people.

One day, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty asked Li Bai to accompany him, boasting about Yang Guifei's beauty and ordering Li Bai to write poems for Yang Guifei. Although Li Bai has the ambition of "Oh, how can I bow and scrape to the high officials?", in the face of Tang Xuanzong's "esteem", his poems are smooth whether as a monarch or a friend.

Thus, a "Qingpingdiao" was born:

Beautiful people who see the bright clouds, think of their clothes and see flowers come to see them. If Yushan didn't see her, it would be Yaochi meeting under the moon.

From this poem, we can be helpless in vain. He was not interested in Yang Guifei's beauty, but he couldn't help boasting, so he had to add "Qunyushan" and "Yaotai" to reflect Yang Guifei's beauty.

Among them, "Qunyushan" and "Yaotai" refer to Kunlun Mountain, which is called "the ancestor of Wanshan Mountain" in China. Kunlun Mountain has always been a sacred, mysterious and beautiful image in China's poems, which has appeared in countless poets' poems.

Our initial understanding of Kunlun Mountain mainly came from Zhang Qian's mission to the Western Regions. In the late 2nd century BC, Zhang Qian was appointed as an envoy to the Western Regions. When he entered the western regions, he took the Tianshan passage, but when he came back, he returned along the northern foot of Kunlun Mountain. He really felt the spectacular and steep Kunlun Mountain and brought its mystery to the Central Plains.

So in the legend of Taoism, Kunlun Mountain became a sacred mountain, which is said to be the place where immortals live. There are countless treasures in the mountains, as well as the Yaochi where the Queen Mother of the West lives. It is a mountain peak as high as a skyscraper, and also the birthplace of local immortals in China, so it is honored as the "ancestor of Wanshan" by Taoism.

In fact, there are indeed many mysterious events in Kunlun Mountain, the most famous of which is the "Ghost Gate" of Kunlun Mountain. There is a deep valley in Kunlun Mountain, even the local herdsmen who know the surrounding environment best dare not enter, because once they enter the valley, the basic mountain will never come back. This valley is called "Death Valley" and its mouth is "The Gate of Hell".

1983, a herdsman's horse strayed into Death Valley. In order to save their horses, herders boldly entered the valley of death. As a result, the horse finally returned safely, but the owner was gone. Finally, the herdsmen appeared on the hill outside the valley, looking tortured, tattered and dying unsatisfied. What's more strange is that he has no scars on his body.

Shortly after this incident, another strange thing happened in July of the same year. A geological and archaeological team working near Kunlun Mountain approached Death Valley. As a result, a snowstorm suddenly started here, followed by lightning and thunder. Then everyone lost consciousness. When they woke up, they found that the loess around them had turned into black soil, and all the animals and plants died, as if they had been scorched by lightning.

After this series of mysterious events, the Kunlun Mountain area, especially the Death Valley, was established by our army. On the one hand, it is convenient for scientists to explore this area, on the other hand, it is also to protect local people from losing their lives in vain when they approach Death Valley again.

After some research, scientists found that there is a very obvious magnetic field anomaly in Death Valley, and the deeper into Death Valley, the stronger this anomaly is. It is this extremely special magnetic anomaly that has caused many minefields here. When animals are moving, they are more likely to be "captured" by magnetic fields and then killed by lightning.

Therefore, Death Valley has been surrounded by our regiment ever since. In addition, Kunlun Mountain starts from the western border of China and forms a mountain pass with Tianshan Mountain in the north, which constitutes a natural barrier. It is a strategic location on the border of China. As long as we hold the Kunlun Mountain, the threats to China's western border will be greatly halved.

It is for these reasons that Kunlun Mountain began to become an important place, and it has been heavily guarded all the year round since then.
