The so-called yangko is the general name of Han folk songs and dances, but it must be called yangko, with dance as the main body. As early as the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, literary and art workers from all over the country went deep into life, and they found that the folk songs and dances in Shanghe were colorful. At the end of 1950s, Shandong experts selected the folk songs and dances of Shanghe, Jiaoxian and Haiyang as the three major Yangko in Shandong, namely, Shanghe Guzi Yangko, Jiaozhou Yangko and Haiyang Yangko. At that time, there were many forms of folk songs and dances in Shanghe, including umbrella encouragement, flower whip drum, Fengyang flower drum, Hua Gun, tea picking, trolley, big head, stilts, letter son, dragon lantern, lion bag, lantern official, tiger-ox fight, lotus lantern, single-knife bridge, duet, dry boat, donkey running, driving, fork, frontcourt and rolling. Drum Yangko is a very common large-scale square dance in northern Shandong, and it is also a Han folk activity for farmers to celebrate the harvest and celebrate the Spring Festival. Widely spread in Huimin, Laoling, Lingxian, Yangxin, Jiyang, Linyi, Pingyuan, Yucheng and other counties and cities centered on Shanghe County. According to a survey in 1950s, among 978 natural villages in Shanghe County, there are 724 villages with drums and yangko teams. Before and after the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, deafening gongs and drums can be heard everywhere from villages to towns, and people watching yangko performances can be seen everywhere. Three generations of * * * dances are common on the Yangko field, which shows its wide spread and deep popularity.
