"Autumn" is the first volume of the seventh-grade compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook "Chinese" and "People's Education Edition". The language of this poem is vivid, the artistic conception is beautiful, there are paintings in the poem, and there is emotion in the painting.
Student Analysis
Seventh grade students are eager for knowledge, full of curiosity about many things, and dare to express themselves. After more than a month of cultivation and training, they have already fallen in love with the new Chinese class and have grown up in "I learn, I participate, I experience, and I am happy".
Design concept
Pay attention to creating a musical atmosphere and adopt character reading. Through emotional reading, students can appreciate the artistic conception of the text, deepen their understanding of poetry, and gradually improve students' ability to appreciate, create, and imagine literature, as well as their ability to feel, appreciate, and create beauty.
With students as the main body, we try to use methods of autonomy, cooperation, inquiry, and experience to achieve the integration of knowledge and abilities, processes and methods, and emotional attitudes and values.
Preparation before class
1. The teacher prepares slides, tape recorder and VCD disc.
2. Tang Shizong’s poems and Yuanqu are treasures of ancient Chinese culture and art. It will be beneficial to read and memorize them more. Before class, let students collect some related poems to broaden their horizons, expand their ideas, and increase their accumulation.

2. Feel the life and spirituality of the autumn scenery in the countryside.
3. Learn to observe, deepen your understanding of nature through association and imagination, and achieve communication with nature.

Teaching process
1. Introduction of new lessons
(The recorder plays the theme song of "How Many Cool Autumns in Life")
Teacher: (Smiling) Cold comes and summer comes, the seasons change. You have experienced this cycle of changes more than a dozen times, and the experience of the seasons must have left you with many lingering memories. Due to different personalities and experiences, your feelings about the four seasons are also very different. Which season of the year is your favorite? Ask students to talk about why they like it.
(Students interact and communicate, the atmosphere is lively)
Teacher: The vitality of spring, the exuberance of summer, and the splendor of winter. So, what about Qiu? (What kind of landscape is it?) Today, we go into He Qifang’s topic (writing on the blackboard): Autumn
2. Read the text and gain overall understanding
1. The teacher’s model reading of the text to music ( With the help of the background music "Autumn Rain" and the text pictures, students can experience the emotion and beauty of the poem.
2. Students read the text freely and imitate the speed and intonation of the model. p> 3. The teacher checks the students’ reading performance, provides motivational evaluation to the students, and guides the students to objectively evaluate their classmates’ poetry reading.
3. Study and Appreciation
Teacher: The spring in the south of the Yangtze River in Zhu Ziqing's works is beautiful and the mountains are green. Lao She's ink painting - the winter in Jinan, the sun is shining brightly, the sky is cool and autumn is beautiful! The autumn of the modern poet He Qifang is desolate or mature, please. Students read the text and talk about their opinions!
(Students read silently, group discussions, teacher inspects and provides guidance)
Student: This poem is a beautiful rural autumn scene. Immersed in it, you will seem to see the valley, the farmhouse, the fishing boat, the shepherdess... all the scenery is captured in the painting. This is the autumn that lives in the farmhouse; it is the autumn that plays on the fishing boat; it is the autumn that dreams in the eyes of the shepherdess. ; It’s autumn full of poetry!
Teacher: Good observation and perception skills, applause and encouragement (applause bursts out)
(Students are excited and raise their hands to answer)
p>
Health: The poet describes farm life in the most quintessential language. Each verse is a beautiful picture.
Health: The three verses form three composite pictures. A special atmosphere that is both fluid and integrated.
Teacher: Very good. I dare to express different opinions and analyze them well. So, how do these three verses summarize the three pictures?
Students: Pictures of farmers’ harvests, pictures of returning to fishing in frosty scenery, and...
Students: Pictures of girls in love!
(Students laughed)
Teacher: Wow! The summary is very accurate. I admire it. Now let the students use their imagination to describe these three pictures.
Student: Farmer's Harvest Picture - Dew in the Morning. At that time, the farmers came to the valley, and the sound of Ding Ding's logging shook the valley...
Student: Picture of Returning to Fishing in the Frost Morning - The river surface in the early morning is still filled with cold mist, and you can feel the coolness. ...
Student: A picture of a girl longing for love - the sound of crickets chirping in the wilderness and the clear water of the stream.
The bleating sounds of the sheep are heard...
Teacher: Being in the scene makes you forget to leave. marvelous!
Sheng: This poem, like Zhu Ziqing’s "Spring", uses hearing and smell in its writing.
Teacher: How can you see it?
Student: "The sound of logging drifts out of the valley" writes the depth and tranquility of the valley from the perspective of hearing. "Daoxiang" implies the maturity of rice from an olfactory perspective and shows a picture of a good harvest.
Health: The poem starts from multiple sensory perspectives, blends metaphors and personification, and shows a bright and happy autumn, an autumn that is enjoyable.
Teacher: Students can flexibly apply the knowledge they have learned. This is a good way of thinking!
This poem is also unique in terms of diction and is worth savoring. Please find the words or sentences that you think are well written and give your reasons.
(Students used pens to circle and outline the dots in the book. After a while, most of the students raised their hands to speak)
Student: "Gently rocking the little paddle" "Gently" "Light" shows the fisherman's leisurely and contented mood.
Sheng: I think the word "game" is a bit inappropriate. Because autumn is poetic and romantic, "games" ruin the scenery.
Sheng: I don’t think so! The word "game" is a mixture of fiction and reality. When fishermen play on a fishing boat, they don't care about how many fish they catch, but they feel and play autumn.
Teacher: Do students agree with this student’s point of view?
(Students nodded in succession)
Do you need to add anything else?
Student: "Autumn dreams in the eyes of the shepherdess" "Dreams" means hazy, which expresses the girl's feelings.
Teacher: Autumn is the harvest season in the world. Have you ever paid attention to the scenery of autumn? Is the autumn scene in your impression the same as this poem? Young people, can you tell me your feelings about autumn? Use your mouth or your hands to pursue the "dance of autumn" in your heart.
Health: Autumn, the golden season, the harvest season. The farmland is full of crops! Bananas are hanging all over the branches, and tomatoes are like small lanterns. It is really refreshing.
Sheng: Spring is beautiful, but autumn is even more charming! Please listen to the ancient poem "Since ancient times, autumn has been sad and lonely. I say that autumn is better than spring tide."
Health: Fallen leaves are not heartless things, they turn into spring mud to protect flowers.
Health: Wave goodbye/You are the messenger of summer/Falling leaves/Today’s loss/is tomorrow’s brilliance and maturity.
Teacher: That’s so good! There is not a lack of beauty in life, but a lack of discovery. In addition to this poem, are there any other poems with autumn as the content?
p> Health: withered vines, old trees, dim crows, small bridges and flowing water. On the ancient road, the west wind blows and the horse is thin, the sun sets in the west, and the heartbroken man is at the end of the world.
Teacher: The students said it very well and really got into the role. The poem "Autumn" creates an atmosphere that is both from the world and far away from the world by describing different scenes and pictures. This atmosphere is characterized by tranquility, distance, and sweetness. It writes about the farm leisure scene after a busy summer, so it has a quiet atmosphere; it writes about a paradise-like life, without the slight hardship and hatred of the farm family, so it has a distant atmosphere; it writes about the hazy and innocent feelings of boys and girls Love, so it has a sweet atmosphere.
Today’s class went well not only because we understood the poem, but more importantly because everyone was able to actively express their own opinions with their own opinions and have unique feelings and insights. This bold spirit of exploration is the foundation for improving Chinese language ability. I hope everyone will make more efforts in this regard!
Reflection after class
This class is over, but my heart can’t calm down. In class, I was deeply moved by the students’ insights and imagination about autumn.
If I hadn’t been in the classroom in person, I would have found it hard to believe that students in rural areas had such agile and active thinking and such smooth and vivid writing.
I deeply feel that students’ potential is unlimited, regardless of region or grade. In teaching, teachers should create a good learning situation, create relaxed, harmonious, and democratic learning, maximize students' enthusiasm, give students space for free development, and allow students to truly become the masters of learning. Do an open-ended appreciation like "a thousand readers will have a thousand Hamlets".
After class, some students wrote in their weekly diaries: beautiful articles, beautiful scenery, picturesque, poetic, my heart almost flew up during the class, I rushed to speak, rushed to express my thoughts on poetry. Speak out your understanding and insights and share them with everyone.
Another student wrote: get out of class is over, but my heart is still immersed in that beautiful paradise, the valley, the farmhouse, the fishing boat... It is still in my mind, and I can’t get rid of it. .
Students’ gains and insights are the greatest motivation for teachers. Facing those pairs of bright eyes and young hearts. I think that kind of indoctrination education that restricts students’ thinking and restrains their hands and feet should really withdraw from the stage of history.
In the tide of curriculum reform, we hope that each of our teachers will strive to be a trendsetter of the times, using wisdom as pulp and ideals as sails to carry students to seek knowledge and let their hearts fly.
