Is the rhythm of writing poetry so important now? Why?

With the gradual improvement of our living standards, our pursuit of literature has lost the enthusiasm of ancient literati. Many people study ancient literature just for exams, but some people want to learn the essence of ancient literati by studying ancient literature, especially poetry, in the form of five elements, seven verses, seven verses and long poems. However, due to the ancient literati's pursuit of the beauty of music and rhythm of poetry, the requirements for poetry are extremely high, and modern people can hardly learn the essence of it. However, even in modern times, when we write poetry, we still have to pursue rhythm.

First of all, from the classification of poetry. Poetry can be divided into lyric poetry and narrative poetry. Lyricism focuses on expressing the author's thoughts and feelings. Most of his political pursuits and expectations for the future are fictitious. Narrative poems are mostly descriptions of reality, both praise and criticism. What you want to write depends on the author's living conditions at that time. However, unlike novels and essays, poetry can be long and short. However, in order to fully express the author's feelings, the requirements for words are very high. We need to organize different articles through our common words to meet the requirements of expressing the author's feelings. Therefore, we should not only limit poetry, but also consider words.

Second, from the perspective of the length of poetry. There are long poems and short poems, and most of the long poems written by modern people are related to modern people's lives. Modern texts are widely used, and classical Chinese sentences become the object of our study. Some things we can only learn the surface but not the essence, so the short poems written can't express that kind of deep feelings. Moreover, short poems have few words and are difficult to write. The description of long poems does not need to pursue words like four laws and five sentences, but can also fully express the author's feelings, and more words can express the author's feelings more clearly.

In this way, if a poem wants to arouse readers' interest through short words, it must have certain rhythm beauty, music beauty and full emotion to arouse the voices of readers and authors, so that readers will take the time to read such a poem. If poetry simply pursues the beauty of words and ignores the thoroughness of emotions, then readers will be very boring to read and give people a very empty feeling. But only emotional expression without exquisite words and reading without rhythm is not like poetry.

In short, the description of poetry needs exquisite words to support the appearance, full emotions to express it as content, and rhythm to stimulate readers' interest. We should not only achieve the unity of appearance and content, but also achieve the emotional harmony between the author and the reader. More importantly, we should have rhythm to make the reader feel more intoxicated when reading.
