How to appreciate Bergman, Ferini, tarkovsky and Godard?
Bergman is very serious, and his works have a strong sense of drama. Most of his themes are about God, religion and family relations. Ferini paid attention to reality in the early stage and was bold and unrestrained in the later stage, but he could not do without the circus image. Godard is all kinds of technological innovation, skip cutting, voice-over and so on. The old tower is the representative of poetry and movies, with beautiful photography, long lens, virtual and real transformation, and forced to break through the sky. Try to go deep into other arts besides movies, especially literature, painting, poetry and stage art (the directors are different). On second thought, it is generally understandable. Narration is important, but personal experience is more important. Godard's movie "Tired" can understand what he wants to express, but other movies are just too personal to stand. Tarkovsky's film thoughts are profound and his characters are full and vivid. Personally, he prefers his films. Bergman's films are full of stage style, dig deep into the inner world of the characters and have amazing narrative ability.
