There is an English composition about art class.

Nowadays, it is very common for parents to send their children to various art classes, such as music, painting, dancing and so on. On weekends or holidays.

Some people take it for granted that their children can use their leisure time to learn more skills and prepare for the fierce competition in the adult world in the future. Nevertheless, there are still some voices against this phenomenon and think that it should not be encouraged.

As far as I am concerned, I stand by the latter because its disadvantages far outweigh its advantages. Most importantly, for children, playing is their nature. If they are deprived of the right to have enough free time, it will be very harmful to their physical and mental health. On the other hand, most children are sent to art schools to learn things that they are not even interested in. Therefore, they are unwilling to cooperate with their teachers, and the result is only a waste of time and energy. Therefore, it is obvious that it is better to let children do what they really love freely than to force them to take art classes.

Art is as necessary as other courses offered in schools. Children are all different in one way or another. They may have obstacles that prevent them from achieving many things that others can do, so they may feel forgotten. But in art, there is no right or wrong. Only thoughts and expressions. Passion and love can be integrated into art in a way different from other ways.

Art is not the only form of expression. Creative writing and music are other ways for children to reach out and show their true potential. Taking these away from society is taking away the children's hopes and dreams of showing their true selves.
