Xiang' egan Revolutionary Base Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall of Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Revolutionary Base (Pingjiang County Museum) is located in Gaidong, Dongjindong Township, Xiangyin County. 1934, the Kuomintang government sent troops to launch the fifth "encirclement and suppression" campaign against the base areas of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi, and the provincial organs of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi were forced to withdraw from Wanzai Xiao Yuan, Jiangxi, and moved here on July 1934. The former site is an ordinary residence, and 1956 is listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Hunan Province. 1982, Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs allocated funds for site maintenance. Located in Guo Huashan, Sanduyuan, Pingjiang County, it covers an area of 1 1 mu, with a building area of 3,800 square meters and a hall area of 1040 square meters. It is a new patriotic education base and a beautiful cultural landscape in our county. The museum is an antique building with glazed cornices and cloisters. The building consists of main hall, gatehouse, square, steps and lawn. The museum has a unique landscape, elegant environment and grandeur.
