Appreciation of Lu Guimeng's Chrysanthemum Poems in "Remembering the White Chrysanthemum"

Appreciation of Chrysanthemum Poems in Chrysanthemum Story and White Chrysanthemum

Lu guimeng

Children's books spread to Bai Juyi, but the west became stagnant.

The window screen under the moonlight stage is very thin, and it is filled with fragrance.

Chrysanthemums are perennial flowers, all yellow flowers. Therefore, in ancient poems, yellow flowers became synonymous with chrysanthemums. Lu Guimeng, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, sang another kind of chrysanthemum. This kind of chrysanthemum is called Cuiju, also known as Jiangxi La and Xiaolanju, and belongs to the annual compositae grass flower. This kind of flower comes in red, light red, white, blue and purple. Of course, white chrysanthemums are white flowers. Generally speaking, chrysanthemums with white flowers need artificial cultivation.

Throughout the ages, since the patriotic poet Qu Yuan, there have been countless poems chanting chrysanthemums. However, not many people sing white chrysanthemums. Xu Shang, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, once said, "This world is rare and there has been no poetry since ancient times." That's true. Until now, there are not many poems praising the white pony. However, Lu Guimeng praised chrysanthemum more than once. In his poems, besides the one quoted above, there are two poems, I miss the white chrysanthemum and I live in a dense chrysanthemum, so I became a bosom friend.

In "In Memory of Bai Juyi", the poet vividly described his deep affection for Bai Juyi with unpretentious brushwork. The main idea of the poem is: the child wrote to tell me that the white chrysanthemums at home are in full bloom, and I am busy with the autumn harvest, so I can't go home to watch it. At this time, I seem to have returned to my yard, but I saw the white chrysanthemums and moonlight blooming outside the window, which was innocent. Through the thin screen window, I don't know how much fragrance has penetrated, which makes me immersed in the rich floral fragrance. "The first two sentences in the poem are true, describing the background of" Yi Ju ",and the last two sentences are fictional, which is the author's memory of chrysanthemum. It is in these two poems that the poet expresses his love for chrysanthemums by describing their color and fragrance.

The poem "Xicheng" refers to the autumn harvest. "Book Essentials": "On that day, Yi Yin was equal to the West." Kong Note: "Autumn is in the west, when everything is mature." There is a saying in Wang Han Mangzhuan: "If you give him a tour to the west, he will bow and back, and all counties will get it to help the west." Du Fu's poem "Nan Chi" said: "It is quite familiar that the high heaven was defeated by the west." Bai Juyi's poem "Autumn Wandering on the Moon": "Seeing that this is full, why wait for Xicheng?" Lu Guimeng also used the word "Xicheng" in a poem entitled "Pinon". He said: "Last year, there were ears left in the west, but this summer, Nanmu was dry and bald." According to historical records, during Lu Guimeng's seclusion in Songjiang Mansion (now Wujiang County, Jiangsu Province), there were hundreds of acres of fields and 30 houses, and he often went deep into the fields to work. This can be reflected from the "western stagnation" in the poem.

Lu Guimeng, who was born in troubled times, lived a totally clean life. He especially likes white flowers. In his poems, besides white chrysanthemums, he sang Bai Lianhua and Bai Furong. Perhaps it is these white flowers that pin Lu Guimeng's noble sentiment of getting rid of dirt.
