Modern Poetry at the Crossroads

The charming spring scenery is left behind,

The frolicking fish says hello to summer.

After listening to the sound of autumn cricket playing the pipa,

Before you know it, you are at a crossroads.

Hesitate which direction to go,

The road ahead is the same intersection.

The right or wrong in the future is to take a step forward.

If you keep going, you will never turn back.

When the spring breeze brings warmth,

How comfortable and romantic the mood is.

People passing by are envious,

Flower watchers should also roll their eyes.

Many relatives and friends who have been together,

Most of them are beautiful and happy.

Family and friendship are not happy enough to get together.

Who can think of the unknown future and transcendence?

Once upon a time, I was surrounded by cold wind and sadness.

I will never see their figures and faces again.

The original voice and smile only stay in my heart,

It's hard to be together if you want to get back the joy of the past.

Once upon a time, the willow and peach trees planted that year,

Fly ash smoke has long been extinguished into dust.

How many years have they passed, how many years,

There is not even a faint trace left.

Once upon a time, the rivers around us had already dried up.

There is no sign that the partners are competing for water.

I don't even have a big girl and a little wife to wash clothes.

They all became passers-by in a hurry, and I don't know where they went.

Why is it like this now?

Only one person is still walking around.

Everything is gone, it's hard to stay,

Only what is lost forever.
