Du Fu in Tang Dynasty
Two orioles sing green willows,
A line of egrets rose into the sky.
The window contains autumn snow in Xiling,
Mambo Wu Dong Wan Li Ship.
2. Translation
Two orioles are singing softly among the green willows.
A flock of neat egrets went straight into the blue sky.
Sitting by the window, you can see the snow accumulated all the year round on Xiling.
Ships from Wu Dong, thousands of miles away, moored in front of the gate.
3. Brief analysis
Huang Li Ming Cui Liu is the third quatrain written by Du Fu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. It was written by Du Fu when he heard that the "An Shi Rebellion" in the Tang Dynasty was put down. The first two sentences of the poet gave a subtle description of the beautiful scenery. In a few words, the poet missed his hometown because he saw Wuchuan.
