Meng Haoran, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, suffered from cold window disease for many years. When he went to Beijing to catch the exam, he fell out of Sun Shan. When writing this poem, he was playing in Chang 'an. At that time, Zhang Jiuling appointed Shao Jian, a secretary, and a bachelor's academician in Jixian College. They and Wang Wei have forgotten each other. Meng Haoran wrote this poem and gave it to Zhang Jiuling in order to get his recommendation and employment.
The first four sentences of this poem come straight to the point, first describing the beautiful scenery of Dongting Lake; The last four sentences began to express their eagerness to seek an official position. "When I sit here and watch a fisherman throw a fish, I feel like a squid." This is the allusion of Huainanzi, which later became an eternal story. Zhang Ji praised it after reading it, so he returned a song "Reward Zhu Qingyu": "Yue Nv has a new makeup mirror, and he knows that he is more thoughtful. Wan Qi is not expensive in the world, and a Song Ling is worth a thousand dollars.
