Ninghe, Tianjin, the ancient city of Gyeonggi. Ninghe County is located in the east of Tianjin, near the Bohai Sea. It covers an area of 103 1 km2, governs 7 towns, 15 townships and 285 natural villages, with an existing population of 348,000. It is one of the first batch of coastal open counties approved by the state.

Ninghe is a multi-ethnic county. There are Han, Hui, Zhuang, Man, Yao, Korean, Mongolian, Tibetan, Dong, Lao and Oroqen nationalities in the territory.
