(hymn)
A poem praising God sung in a Christian service. The contents of the lyrics are mainly praise, thanks and prayers to God. At present, most hymns have four chorus tunes: tenor, tenor, tenor and bass, while the early hymns have no harmony and no accompaniment. The earliest existing complete lyrics are Greek hymns, written about 200 years ago and entitled "Let it be, Light of Joy".
A hymn (hymn)
In the Old Testament, there is a poem called 150 1, which is divided into five parts, including a hymn to praise God or pray for God's blessing. Most of them were sung by Jews in the cathedral.
Many hymns were written by King David, a Jewish king. He was also a musician, and some were written by Korah's son and Moses.
The 22nd hymn, "The Lord is my protector …", is perhaps the most famous of all hymns.
