"Spring Day" Qin Guan in Song Dynasty
Thousands of threads of lightning fell in one night, and the jade light and floating tiles were jagged.
The loving peony contains spring tears, the powerless rose lies on the dawn branch.
Translation: There was a light thunder, and the spring rain pattered down. It cleared up after the rain, and the sun seemed to be floating among the green tiles that had just been washed by the rain. After the spring rain, the peonies are full of tears, full of affection; the roses lie down, charming and lovable.

Qin Guan (1049-September 17, 1100), also known as Shaoyou and Taixu, also known as Huaihai Jushi, also known as Hangou Jushi, Gaoyoujun Wuning Township A native of Zuoxiangli (now Shaoyou Village, Sanduo Town, Gaoyou City, Jiangsu Province). A poet of the Wanyue School in the Northern Song Dynasty. Qin Guan was good at poetry, poetry, and policy theory, and together with Huang Tingjian, Chao Buzhi, and Zhang Lei, he was known as the "Four Scholars of the Su School".
Qin Guan's poems are ancient and heavy, reflecting his life experience, and are deeply touching. He is good at argumentation, elegant and thoughtful, and has artistic talents in poetry, poetry, prose and calligraphy. He is especially famous for his graceful words.
