Han Yuefu-Evil-

Original text:

Evil! I want to know you and live a long life.

There is no mausoleum in the mountains, the river is exhausted, thunder and lightning in winter and rain and snow in summer, and heaven and earth are one, but dare to be with you!

[Translation] Oh, my God! I want to know you and cherish you, and my heart will never fade. (Unless) the mountains smooth the peaks, (unless) the surging river dries up, (unless) the winter thunder, (unless) the In the snow turns, (unless) the heaven and the earth become a line, (until that day) I dare to cut off from you!

Contrary to the shy modality that literati poems like to describe a girl's first love, it is most common to express the reckless pursuit of happy love in the tone of a girl's self-report. This poem belongs to the "advocacy song" in the folk songs of Han Yuefu. It is a straightforward northern girl's confession to the man she fell in love with. Because the girl's way of expressing love is particularly surprising, and her vows of eternal love are particularly warm, the girl's expression and voice can still be vividly expressed on paper after thousands of years.

The first sentence "evil" refers to heaven as an oath, and also says "Oh, my God"! The ancients respected heaven and feared life, and would not easily move the authority of heaven unless they had to. Now the girl is free to speak, but I can imagine that she has a serious expression and has something extremely important to say. Sure enough, the girl finally spit out the secret that she kept in her heart and wanted to say it several times but didn't have a chance to say it: "I want to know you, and I will live a long life." "Knowing each other" means falling in love and being lovers. After careful selection, the girl thinks that this man is really worthy of love. "Long life" means that the fate of two people will always be linked together, and their love will never decline. The first sentence is the attitude of expressing love, and the second sentence is the firmness of expressing love at a higher level. Love is pure and beautiful only when it is associated with loyalty. Of course, girls know this, so they want to further show their mind. However, she didn't want to speak directly, but swore an oath from the opposite side through unexpected reverse imagination. She first cited five extraordinary things as the premise of swearing: "There is no mausoleum on the mountain, and the river is exhausted", which means that the most permanent existence in the world has undergone tremendous changes; "Thunderstorm in winter, rain and snow in summer" means that the most eternal law of nature has changed strangely; "Harmony between heaven and earth" means that the whole universe has experienced a devastating catastrophe and then said the words "I dare to refuse you". Because these five words are supported by five extraordinary things, each word is fateful and extraordinary; And because none of the preconditions for swearing will appear, the result of "I dare to break up with you" is impossible. In the five volumes of Appreciation of Ancient Poetry by Zhang Yugu in Qing Dynasty, the evaluation of this poem is: "The first three poems, just talking casually, have exhausted their meaning, and the last five poems, the opposite side tries its best to explain. Therefore, if you dare to refuse, you will never refuse. Repeatedly using five things, two in the same place, two in the weather, and talking about the mixture of heaven and earth, rushing through the customs in one breath, but not overlapping, the game is strange. " It can be said that every sentence makes sense.

In addition, swearing and saying negative words from the opposite side not only greatly strengthens the weight of the oath, but also reveals the inner world of the characters more profoundly. The girl's oath was originally intended to strengthen the meaning of "long life and immortality", but the result of the oath shows that the girl's choice of five extraordinary things is well thought out. Under normal circumstances, the mountains are unshakable, the rivers have a long history, the snow in winter and the thunder in summer are reasonable, and the sky is thick and eternal. These can be used to symbolize the character of love and represent her views on love. It is not difficult to see the richness of the girl's spiritual world and the beauty of her love concept. The strong artistic effect produced by the complementary opposition makes the girl's image look extremely cute. In addition, the whole poem is mostly expressed in phrases, sentence by sentence, if accompanied by breathing, is also in line with the voice of emotional turmoil when girls express their love.

This ancient poem has a great influence on later generations. Bodhisattva Man, written by Dunhuang Quzi Ci God, is obviously inspired by it in both ideological content and artistic expression: "I wish everything before my pillow, and I want to wait for the green hills to rot." Fish scales float on the water until the Yellow River turns completely orange. In the daytime, when Beidou returns to the south, he can't rest, and he can't see the sun until the third night. "Not only the pursuit of loyal and single-minded love and happiness is the same, but also the constant use of various impossibilities to explain an impossible artistic conception is exactly the same.
