Seeking Appreciation of Hu Shi's Poem Butterfly

Two yellow butterflies, both flying into the sky.

For some reason, one flew back.

The other, lonely and pathetic.

I have no intention of going to heaven. It's so lonely.

Some people say that this poem is about friendship, but I don't quite believe it, because it is too abrupt to use "butterfly" to compare two big men. I think this is Hu Shi's exclamation about his love life. Hu Shi was engaged to Jiang Dongxiu when he was a teenager. But when he arrived in America, he met the brilliant Wei Liansi and fell in love with him. It's no secret that their half-life relationship began. This poem was written in 19 16 on the eve of Hu Shi's return to China. This poem "Butterfly" is actually a modern "butterfly wish" that combines Chinese and western. There were two butterflies flying in the sky, but they had to fly back suddenly because Hu Shi's mother urged him to go home and get married. Wei Liansi is left alone, looking through the autumn waters, which is really "poor"-Wei Liansi has never married.

Express his lonely and depressed mood at that time.
