Brief introduction of practical hard pen calligraphy content

With the development and progress of society, people pay more and more attention to the improvement of spiritual and cultural quality while enjoying modern material life. Since the early 1980s, hard-pen calligraphy has been widely welcomed and loved by people because of its ready-to-use, beautiful appearance and convenient writing. This brand-new art is like a breeze, swaying on the land of reform and opening up.

At present, many hard-pen calligraphers have emerged in China. They are devoted to the education and research of hard-pen calligraphy, which has promoted the development of hard-pen calligraphy as a whole. Moreover, all kinds of hard pen calligraphy activities held all over the country are becoming more and more frequent, and even many schools have specially set up calligraphy education classes. Writing beautiful and unique hard pen characters has become the goal pursued by modern people.

Because of my innate hobby, I have had an indissoluble bond with calligraphy since I was a child, and I always want to make achievements in this respect. This idea has continued to this day. Over the past few months, I have gathered the courage to sort out some experiences and understandings accumulated in my writing process and dedicate them to the vast number of teenagers, students and calligraphy teaching circles who are interested in practicing pen writing well. In the process of writing this book, after reading the vast majority of hard pens and some brush tutorials and textbooks published at present, we discard the false and keep the true, and summarize and refine them. The book not only introduces the strokes and radicals of pen regular script and running script in a simple way, but also includes demonstration works, so that readers can create hard-pen calligraphy according to the demonstration works while browsing and studying the book, which can improve their interest in learning hard-pen calligraphy and broaden the connotation of calligraphy learning.

In order to help readers who need to know cursive script, I wrote a cursive script at the back of this book and annotated its contents with simplified Chinese characters. I hope readers can get more enlightenment and harvest from ancient Chinese characters, and lay a good foundation for further understanding and writing cursive script.

Due to the lack of knowledge and time, this book inevitably has shortcomings, and I hope to get advice from experts and readers. If this book can be liked by everyone, I will be very pleased.
