Li Shangyin (about 8 13 ~ 858), a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty, was also called "Little Du Li" with Du Mu. Li Shangyin was one of the few poets who deliberately pursued the beauty of poetry in the late Tang Dynasty and even the whole Tang Dynasty. He is good at poetry writing, and parallel prose has high literary value.
Du Mu (803-852) is Du You's grandson. Literati and Yamato Jinshi in Tang Dynasty. He lived in Fan Chuan in his later years and was called Du Fanchuan.
The literary achievements of Du Mu and Li Shangyin;
1. There are about 600 poems handed down by Li Shangyin, among which the themes of current politics are directly touched, accounting for a considerable proportion. Li Shangyin's epic has made great achievements.
They are by no means sick moans of "thinking about the past", and they are also different from those poems written by predecessors that send feelings to the past. They take history as a mirror, Chen's politics as a mirror, and the criticism of the times as a supplement, making history-chanting a special form of political poetry.
2. Du Mu's literary creation has many achievements, including poetry, prose and ancient prose. Du Mu advocates that all works should be based on meaning, supplemented by qi and guarded by words, and has a correct understanding of the relationship between content and form of works.
And it can absorb and melt the strengths of predecessors and form its own special style. Influenced by Du Fu and Han Yu, Du Mu's ancient poems have a wide range of themes and strong brushwork. His modern poems are famous for their beautiful words and ups and downs.
