When was Christianity introduced into China?

Existing historical data show that Christianity spread to Chang 'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty, in 635 AD. Arrow, a missionary who came to China at that time, belonged to the nestorius Sect of Christianity and was regarded as a heresy by Christian orthodoxy. However, in China, it was received by Emperor Taizong, and the court funded the construction of a temple in Chang 'an called Persian Temple, which was later renamed Daqin Temple.

Christianity is a monotheistic religion, believing that Jesus Christ is the son and savior of God (Messiah). It originated in the Palestinian area of West Asia, with the Bible as the highest religious classic, Jesus Christ as the center, the gospel as the core idea, and believers called Christians. Because some doctrines originated from Judaism, they are considered as one of the Abrahamic religions, and together with Islam and Buddhism, they are the three major religions in the world. It is divided into three major factions: Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity and Protestantism. However, due to historical development, Christianity in Chinese often refers to Protestantism, while Christianity as a whole is called Christianity or Christianity in a broad sense.
