A Fei seems to be more of a fantasy novelist among his peers. His intelligence enabled him to successfully complete his middle school studies. During this period, he read many extracurricular books, the most influential of which were Shan Hai Jing, Story Club and Youth Literature. He likes the gossip stories of historical figures and legends, and once loved books such as Three Heroes and Five Righteousnesses. But he was admitted to a university in Beijing, where it seems abnormal to study without dreaming and become a poet. At that stage of his freshman year, he naturally liked those works that were light, beautiful, ethereal and slightly interesting in life, especially those influenced by Gu Cheng for at least a whole year. Later, he came into contact with Keats in England and lorca in Spain, and he was also Gu Cheng's favorite poet. Therefore, "aestheticism", "emptiness" and "nothingness" have always occupied the center of A Fei's writing.
When a poor student finally gritted his teeth and bought 1998 China New Poetry Yearbook which he happened to see in Xishu Bookstore, an aesthetic interest suddenly stopped. I still don't know if this is the luck or misfortune of teddy boy. But this undoubtedly provided the possibility for his early appearance before the formation of the concept of "post-70 s poetry" at the end of last century. Because of communication and meeting, A Fei accepted the objective concept of "yearbook", then came into contact with "poetic reference" and got to know the group of "lower body". His understanding of life and poetry has changed a lot, and his concept of poetry has made a leap, not necessarily because the quality of his works has been greatly improved, but at least he understands a truth: poetry has no dark side and no scruples. What he once thought could not and should not be included in poetry may now be the best theme. They opened up teddy boy's thinking warehouse. But even during that time, he didn't take "sex" as his creative theme, but he had his own ideas, such as the high temperature of 40 degrees, the breeze crossing the lake, the playground, how to pronounce a poem, the scenery outside the window in the name of garbage, and so on. His creation from infancy to maturity also began at this time. This artistic tendency has influenced him to this day.
A lot of money
My friend told me.
I changed
It has changed.
Become unrecognizable
The eyes of the masses have changed.
My baby is coming.
I was a child yesterday.
The child's mother is lying in bed.
Like an uninspired clam.
Go to sleep mechanically
Like all new mothers,
Have no purpose
No memory.
In the dream, her husband was dressed in red.
The most dazzling groom in the country
If I were a pig
Will fate give me a pigsty?
If I were alone,
Will the mother of the child give me a stable future?
So I changed.
Became what my friends expected
A right-hand man sitting in a big sedan chair.
Trembling and stretching out a weak hand.
An arrangement that caters to fate
Like innocent things in a shower.
This is one of A Fei's representative works. It is his own poem, which describes the living state of his individual life, but it is also a poem of this generation, presenting a completely different fate and life of a new human being from that before the 1970s. This is the fundamental reason why it is told by many people in the same boat.
Today, when the self-styled literary "genius" is rampant on the Internet, A Fei expresses this generation's passion for survival in his poems! First of all, he abandoned the kind of writing that insisted on an armchair strategist, and vented the rootlessness of a poor student wandering in the city with a kind of self-teasing, cheerful and flamboyant style, which conveyed the life pain of small people in the cracks very concretely. That kind of tears is the real tears in the era of abundant desire. It can be seen that writing is like farming, and only honest people can finally get the reward!
A Fei embeds himself or what he has seen and heard in his poems. "Survival" does not necessarily refer to the material life world, but also refers to people's spiritual world. Therefore, not only the "lower body" but also the "upper body". In his view, the world exists because of "I". Passion is indispensable. Without passion, you will lose the desire to express. Soul is the "light source" of a person's spirit and an invisible existence. A Fei and I both admit that a person will be ecstatic when he sees a good poem because his soul is moved.
Cold lyricism and "spoken language" were not invented by A Fei and the post-80s generation. What the "e generation" really has to face is the slobber and narrowness of the fast online text. Spoken language and network language are undoubtedly the most dynamic parts of the language in today's era, but they are also the surging flood of ubiquitous writing garbage. Absorption and resistance are like a struggle, and the enemy is himself. A Fei wants to solve the tension of poetry through "splicing" Recently, he tried to link history with reality, distance, the living and the dead in his poems, so as to produce a "strange" effect. To express their own ideas: in fact, survival is not one-way, but can extend to the past, present and future, all of which are "alive" at this moment. Just like a person, his past, present and future are all important parts of his existence. This can also be extended to nature and society. Nature has existed since ancient times, and society (history, present and future) has existed since ancient times and has always been "alive". His poems are full of energy and jumping, not just static. See the bridge by the Pearl River, relatives in my hometown, buy a train and so on. There are traces of such efforts.
This is the value and significance of A Fei's writing. They are by no means "the first poet after 80s", but he is also a poet who moved from obscure poetry to future writing, a traditional avant-garde poet, a poet of China and the "world". His poems are constantly growing and full of unknown potentials and possibilities, including the possibility of making mistakes. This is the state of a real poet! Chen Xi Wo writer, from Fuzhou.
I am very moved to read a Fei's poems. Of course, I have read many touching poems, such as the early goddess: Goddess! /Go and find someone who is the same as my vibration number; /You go to the person whose ignition point is equal to mine. /You go, go in the breasts of my lovely young brothers and sisters,/touch their heartstrings,/light up their wisdom! "This poem ignited my literary dream and led me astray.
We used to have too much fanaticism, too much such lyricism. From Guo Moruo's "Great Leap Forward" to "smoking with the sun", which poet is not making a fool of himself? So I also read this kind of poem: "The poet is full/looking at the endless wheat field/smelling the smell in his stomach/being the greatest lazy man in the city/being a glorious farmer in the poem/planting wheat in the name of sunshine and rain/I appeal: starve them/the poet on a dog's day/starve me first/the accomplice of polluting the land with ink/the illegitimate child of the art world" (The Hungry Poet by Issa). Of course, the poet should not starve to death, including the author himself, and he did not starve to death. The poet himself is still writing poems until now. That's actually just a fighting gesture, which shows that I'm not lyrical, I'm rational, and I don't indulge my feelings. One is one, one is two. But it's still poetry Although Eliot once claimed that "poetry is not to indulge feelings, but to escape feelings", we can still feel emotions in his poems, and emotions cannot be escaped. In fact, Eliot just escaped from romantic feelings, but at the same time, he indulged in another kind of feelings. He is still lyrical, but it is a cold lyricism.
I also felt this cold lyricism from a Fei's poems. I have read one of his poems called Red Flag. Growing up in this country, each of us will be familiar with the red flag. Numerous poets have written passionate poems for it. But in fact, it is just a piece of red cloth. I remember the night when China women's volleyball team won the world championship for the first time, my classmates and I spontaneously marched. Collective unconsciousness makes us feel that we must have a red flag leader, so some people take off their red sweatshirts and lift them with sticks. We shouted to the red flag: unite and revitalize China! When I calmed down the next day, I found that it was just a shirt, which was being washed and hung outside the dormitory window to cool off. The red flag in teddy boy's eyes is also hung on a stick. "Red flag/at the top of a slender iron bar/fluttering in the wind/a heat in my heart/a flower in my eye:/blood/slowly flowing down the iron bar". Although it is still so ostentatious, it still dazzles us because of our childhood education and our poet feelings, and it is still so symbolic: the blood of the revolutionary martyrs has become very specific, with a kind of physical indifference.
What is cold lyric? Cold lyric is a kind of calmness and speculation. Lyricism begins with the author leaving the things he faces and saying something bigger or even irrelevant than things. Different from passionate wandering and romantic show, cold lyricism is a kind of going its own way. It's like a young man, facing the bitterness of teachers and elders, he turned his face to the sky, ignored it and even argued. A Fei's Silence is a portrayal of this kind of characters: "Being used to being a silent person/being used to being a lazy cat/in the shape of a tiger, the wizard's face/watching the voices of passers-by, the alternation of the sun and the moon/a heart needs to thrive in silence/the silent person flies in silence". This is an upward decadence, but also a kind of intense. In "In the Name of Garbage", A Fei wrote: "The dirtiest member in the world, I swear in the name of garbage:/From now on, I will get rid of the shackles of elegance, loftiness, ideals, struggle/everything, live in this world with the form, smell and mind of garbage, live under your eyes/keep company with maggots, be proud of being dirty and take death as the ultimate. Including your parents and children/let you frown, cover your nose and spit away from us like you are afraid of death/your parents ascended to heaven, I played music in the garbage/your child died, I ate in the garbage/I laughed when you were in pain/I watched when you committed suicide/that's it, I cancelled you, treated you as nothing/cancelled your contempt, cancelled your anger/cancelled your body and feelings. "
A Fei's poetry creation undoubtedly grew up in the "second half" poetry environment, but he did not have many simple forms in the "second half" poetry. I once said that it is easy to be a gangster, but it is really difficult to be a gangster. A child took off his pants at an adult and called "I'm a hooligan!" " "What is this rascal! That's childish. For a gang of hooligans, those who try their best to blend in and call themselves hooligans (such as Stephen Chow in Kung Fu) are fake hooligans, their followers are hooligans, but the leader is the real hooligan. Why? Because leaders have deeper considerations than hooligans, he is different from others. He stands out. In some of A Fei's poems, I feel something more profound than showing my body, such as "Plain": "From here, everything is flat/like a flat-chested woman's chest/occasionally there is a bulge/that's a nipple/a person walking on it/sticking to the distance/being regarded as a part of the sky by me/when the wind blows/clouds surge to the horizon/covering people's body/like a lazy person. Anyone can compare a woman's body to something, as long as he has hormones in his body. And this association is often very appropriate (which often surprises me, maybe women are really the mother of all things). However, appropriateness does not mean profundity. Deep feelings will move people. When I read this poem, I was deeply touched: a lazy woman covered her dead husband with a dirty shroud.
I only met Afei once in a hurry, hardly talked to him and didn't know him very well. I like the coldness in his poems. I think the background color of literature should be cold. Then maybe someone will ask: what is the relationship between this coldness and moving? There is a common disease in Wuyishan area: shaking, which is called "malaria" in medicine. At first, I felt cold all over, as if I had suddenly fallen into a glacier. It doesn't help to cover two thick quilts in July. Then I had a high fever and many hallucinations. It's like being touched. Wuyi Mountain is bordered by Jiangxi in the west. I wonder if there is a "milkshake" in teddy boy's hometown? By the way, Dang is actually a cold lyric.
