Too many worlds with us is selected from which poetry collection?

The world is too much for us is selected from two volumes of poetry.

The author of poetry anthology is william wordsworth, an English romantic poet (1770- 1850). His poetic theory has shaken the rule of English classical poetics and strongly promoted the innovation of English poetry and the development of Romantic movement.

The full text of this poem is as follows:

The world is too much for us.

The world is too much for us; It's late and fast,

Acquisition and consumption, we waste our strength:

We seldom see what belongs to us in nature;

We have given up our heart, a dirty favor!

The sea reveals her bosom to the moon;

The ever-present howling wind

Now gather like sleeping flowers;

For this, for everything, we are out of tune;

It didn't touch us-the great God! I'd rather be

A pagan influenced by trite beliefs;

Me, too, standing on this beautiful grass,

A glimpse will make me less lonely.

Seeing Proteus coming from the sea,

Or listen to the old Poseidon blowing his horn.

Things are complicated and never stop.

Suffering from loss consumes life.

Become a stranger to your true self

Lose one's soul for petty profits

In the moonlight, the sea is surging.

The wind is blowing day and night.

Time is as quiet as a sleeping flower

We have lost so much and are indifferent to these.

-Oh, God

I asked to be an alien and read the teachings of my time.

In this way, maybe I can stand on the green grass.

Look around and comfort my lonely heart.

Look at the sea god Polo Qiusheng.

Listen to Poseidon playing vines and ancient horns.
