Similarities and differences between poetry and prose
Poetry and prose are a kind of lyric literature. Poetry has emotion and fantasy, giving readers the characteristics of beauty and imagination, and prose has details. Because poetry should pay attention to the neatness of sentence patterns or general neatness and musical rhythm, even free-form lyric poetry can't be limited to expressing hearts or emotions. Poetry has rhyme, rhythm, syllables, lines and arrangement. Prose is not bound by the external form of poetry, and it is always inseparable from documentary. Poetry describes life with "lines" and prose reflects life with "faces"
