3. Recommended tourist routes in Austria
One is crystal ornaments. Innsbruck is the birthplace of Swarovski.
The second is chocolate, Mozart's chocolate in Salzburg, Mozart's hometown.
The third is clothes, especially fast-selling brands, which have more styles than domestic ones, and the discount is particularly strong.
The fourth is luxury goods, such as bags. The price of bags in the euro zone is the same. There are more and bigger luxury shops in the center of Vienna than in neighboring countries. It is a good choice to buy bags in Austria, but it is closed on weekends.
4. Austrian tourist route design
Key words: visa, currency, route, travel brochure, scenic spot map, reservation, public transportation, car rental, navigation, communication, exchange rate conversion.
I. Visa
The three countries we are going to, Czech Republic, Austria and Germany, are all Schengen countries, and we only need to apply for a Schengen visa. As we have stayed in Austria for the longest time, we should apply to Austria according to the regulations. In Chengdu, the Austrian Consulate does not accept the materials submitted directly by the applicant, and can only go through the following websites through the visa center:
/Chinese/
The materials needed to apply for a visa should be prepared according to the requirements on the internet above, so I won't go into details here. The materials submitted should be neither less nor more. For example, if you earn three months' income in the bank, you don't have to pay it for six months, and you don't have to pay it. No proof of funds and real estate license are required. But there are a few points to note:
1. Schengen visa review is strict, so don't leave out the required materials. For example, no matter how many hotels you have booked, you should print it out, not less than one day, and it should be exactly the same as the itinerary you submitted. When I submitted the materials at the visa center, the staff carefully checked the hotel reservation list and itinerary of each day, recorded it with a pen while watching it, and then calculated whether the number of days was consistent with the round-trip air ticket. So don't take any chances, honestly prepare the materials as required, and be impeccable.
2. The items in the application form for entering Schengen countries for the first time should consider the factors of transportation. We flew to Prague, so I filled in the Czech Republic. The staff said I made a mistake, because we changed planes in Amsterdam and should fill in Holland.
3. The insurance required by the visa should cover at least one more day. Our plane tickets left Vienna for home on July 6th, so I bought insurance on July 6th. As a result, the staff of the visa center said no, they had to buy it on July 7. I asked them why they didn't express it online. Ask again or buy again Fortunately, I installed the insurance platform APP on my mobile phone, bought the insurance again on the spot and returned the original one.
4. The tap water of our bank belongs to ICBC, and the printed tap water does not show the attribute of each income. The staff asked me to explain in English which items are my fixed income on an A4 piece of paper. Fortunately, I can write these two sentences in English. What should people who don't understand English do? So it's better to prepare early. There is no need to write this explanation, because most bank operations have clear wages or pensions behind them.
5. The Schengen visa takes a long time, 15 natural days. Pay attention to leave enough time for the trip.
Two. money
The currency used in the Czech Republic is the Czech krona, which cannot be purchased by domestic banks. Can only be exchanged with other currencies such as the euro locally, or cashed at ATM. At present, UnionPay debit cards of some domestic banks support global ATM withdrawals free of charge. All ATMs we met in Czech supported UnionPay cards.
Germany and Austria use the euro, and all major domestic banks can purchase foreign exchange.
It is not recommended to bring too much cash. The only places where cash must be used are toilets, several parking lots (coins are needed) and tips. Everything else can be brushed. Therefore, the best way is to bring UnionPay debit card and VISA or MasterCard credit card, with or without cash. Local ATM is the most cost-effective in exchange rate. However, if you have coins, be sure to take them with you.
Three. path
This time, I didn't take the ring road, and Prague, Czech Republic, retired from Vienna, Austria. The main reason is that the split ticket is cheaper than the round-trip ticket, so there is no need to go back to the starting point.
Czech-(Germany)-Austria general road map.
Four. tourist handbook
This time, we still use the travel brochure that we have summarized and improved by driving abroad many times. Including daily itinerary, address and telephone number of hotels, homestays and apartments. All scenic spots and accommodation points are given latitude and longitude coordinates. With this guide, you can navigate, contact the landlord, ask for directions, and even go to the supermarket to buy ingredients. It is convenient to have a book in your hand.
Travel brochure.
In the above manual, the paired numbers behind the scenic spots are latitude and longitude coordinates. Various methods of inputting latitude and longitude coordinates in electronic maps, such as Google, sygic, maps.me, etc. I have explained it in my previous travel notes, so I won't repeat it here. If necessary, you can leave your mark in Yuanshan through my official WeChat account.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) scenic spot map
The function of the scenic spot map: First, it is convenient to plan a reasonable tour route according to the map when you get to a place where the scenic spots are relatively concentrated; Second, it can avoid leakage. So before every trip, I will make a map of scenic spots in places where scenic spots are concentrated.
Distribution map of Vienna scenic spots (part).
Intransitive verb reservation
As a detailed hotel reservation form must be provided when applying for a Schengen visa, before submitting a visa application, all accommodations are booked in booking.com for convenience and speed, and the initial reservation can be cancelled free of charge. After the cancellation, many optimizations were made. Now there are many apartments and even homestays in booking.com, so we don't want to use reservation platforms such as Airbnb this time. The advantage of concentrating on one platform is that it is easy to manage.
Seven. public transportation
Just as the Czech Republic and China don't recognize the American driver's license of China drivers, we all use Czech public transport this time. In Austria and Germany, you rent a car and drive. In addition, you should return the car on the day you arrive in Vienna, and then walk mainly in Vienna where there is little public transportation.
There are three kinds of public transportation in Prague: bus, tram and subway. Tickets are universal, regardless of model, only for time. There are four kinds of tickets: 30 minutes (24 kroner), 90 minutes (32 kroner), 1 day (11kroner) and 3 days (3 10/kroner). Ticket c
It should be noted that when the ticket is used for the first time, when you get on the bus (bus or tram) or at the entrance of the subway, you must insert the yellow ticket slot in the direction indicated by the arrow on the ticket before you can recognize the ticket as a valid ticket; Otherwise, ticket checking will be regarded as evasion and a high fine will be imposed. After the time stamp, as long as it is valid, the number of rides and vehicle types (bus, tram, subway) are not limited.
For convenience, you can buy several tickets at a time and play one at a time.
Tickets bought at the tram ticket vending machine have been issued for a long time, so there is no need to go to the ticket vending machine. . Public transport costs in Prague.
30-minute bus ticket to Prague
The situation in Vienna is only to change the convenience store mentioned above into a cigarette shop, and everything else is similar. Tickets are divided into single-day, double-day, 1, 2 and 3 days, and buses, trams and subways are also common. The one-way fare is 2.4 euros, and it is 2.7 euros to buy it from the bus driver.
A one-way ticket to Vienna.
As for long-distance transportation, the most convenient thing is to install a mobile APP“Omio;; ; You can book most trains and coaches in Europe. However, it has a certain handling fee, and the handling fee will not be refunded. Our method is to check the route with Google Maps first, and then find the bus company or official website of the train according to the route given by Google Maps, and book tickets directly in official website.
We took the train from Prague to the Bone Church in Kutnahola. The carriage is old, there are no fixed seats, and it is very crowded. We even stood in the narrow aisle for a long time and the experience was very bad. From Prague to Krumlov, we took the FLiXBUS bus, and from Krumlov to Salzburg, Austria, we took the leoexpress bus, all of which were very good, with fixed seats, air conditioning, wifi, water and toilets. Very comfortable.
Besides, long-distance buses are much cheaper than trains, and there are many companies and trains to operate. It is recommended to choose long-distance buses first.
In addition, the reserved bus tickets do not need to be printed. Show the QR code on your mobile phone when you check in, and let the staff scan it with a handheld device. There is only one QR code for purchasing a multi-person ticket at a time. As for trains, tickets are not checked at all, but electronic tickets should be kept for future reference.
Eight. Rent a car
This is relatively simple. You can rent a car through a domestic agent platform, or you can rent a car directly in official website. It is nothing more than comparing prices. After comparison, we rented Sixts' car through a car rental agency platform in China.
Nine. Navigation software
Google Maps needs to be used online, but it is rich in information and is most suitable for cities, including finding bus routes, walking navigation, finding scenic spots, supermarkets, shops and so on. I still use professional offline navigation software Sygic when driving. No, I don't need a cell phone signal, and neither does it. Even in the signal blind area, it does not affect navigation. Based on the experience of driving many times abroad, I think these two world-class software complement each other and are the best partners. Others, such as maps.me, can be used as backups.
X. communication
Although Giffgaff is virtual operator in the UK, it works well as far as our use in the UK is concerned. Easy to use and cheap, free calls to each other, support hotspots. So, I also bought giffgaff, this time a mobile phone card. This card can be collected for free, and then recharged and activated by yourself. However, due to the reasons of China Post, it is almost impossible to receive the card in China (see my travel book "A trip to Britain (02)- Homework" for details), so I bought it on X Bao.
XI. exchange rate conversion
Save a real-time exchange rate conversion software to minimize the exchange rate, with clear interface and simple and efficient use. . Mobile APP "minimalist exchange rate" interface.
This passage is called Raiders, which is slightly different from my previous text, such as homework and food and grass first. It not only describes the preparation work, but also has many contents that we have actually experienced, which can be used for reference by later learners.

The Winter Journey in 2008 was not written by Mozart, but by the famous German composer Schubert. The Winter Journey written on 19 is the most important divertimento in German art song literature. In the perfect combination of poetry and music, vocal music and piano complement each other, and the beauty and depth of music have reached a peak. This vocal divertimento is beautiful in melody and rich in connotation, and is deeply loved by people. It is still often sung at concerts.
