He said, "It's easy to be poor and lowly, but it's hard to be rich and noble. It's easy to work hard, but it's hard to be idle. It's easy to endure pain, but it's hard to endure itching. People who can tolerate idleness, wealth, and itching are truly virtuous people. ". When he was wandering around the world, he would "come back some time and be an idle man. He would be as happy as a zither, a jug of wine, and a stream of clouds", just like a wild crane in the clouds.
