What do Luyuan and Ceng Zhuo have in common in their poetry creation experience?

Luyuan and Ceng Zhuo have many similar experiences. They are all from Hubei (one from Huangpi and the other from Wuhan), born in 1922, and began to write poems under the influence and support of Hu Feng in the 1940s. They were arrested and imprisoned for their involvement in the Hu Feng case 1955, and they did not give up writing poems in prison. After more than 20 years of imprisonment and labor reform, they were rehabilitated almost at the same time. When they wrote their masterpieces Another Columbus and A Gift respectively, they had already experienced a prisoner's life, and then there was a long suffering waiting for them, so they all adopted the method of secret writing, which was not published until twenty years later.
