"Yangtze River"
——Wen Tianxiang of the Song Dynasty
I traveled to the North Sea with the wind for a few days and returned to the head of the Yangtze River.
My heart is like a magnetic needle, and it will not rest until it points to the other side.
"Crossing the Lingding Ocean"
——Wen Tianxiang of the Song Dynasty
After a hard encounter, there are only a few stars in the surroundings.
The mountains and rivers are broken and the wind flutters, and the life experience is ups and downs.
Afraid to say panic on the beach, sigh alone in the ocean.
Since ancient times, no one has ever died, leaving a loyal heart to illuminate history.
"In the Wuyi Mountains"
——Xie Fangde of the Song Dynasty
After ten years of dreamlessness, I have to return home and become independent in Qingfeng Yeshuiya.
The heaven and earth are lonely, the mountains and the rain have stopped, and the plum blossoms can be cultivated in several lifetimes.
Notes:
This poem was written after the fall of the Southern Song Dynasty. Xie Fangde lived in seclusion in the Wuyi Mountains, but he could never forget the grief of the country and his family, seeing his motherland fall into the hands of the enemy. , the voice of resistance has long been silenced, and the poet deeply feels that the world is so lonely and helpless. However, he still used plum blossoms that were resistant to severe cold, ice and snow to encourage himself, saying that he would always uphold national integrity and never surrender to the enemy.
"The Moon over the River/Nian Nujiao·Heyou "Farewell in the Station""
——Wen Tianxiang of the Song Dynasty
The universe can be great, even the dragons and the Yuan Dynasty Not a pool thing. The wind and rain have no place to worry about, and the cold insects are all around. I write poems on the horizontal branches and compose poems on the towers. Everything is covered with snow in the sky. If the river flows like this, there will always be heroes. It's a laugh that one leaf is drifting away. When we return to the Huaihe River, there is a new cool breeze. All the beauty in the mirror has changed, but only the loyalty remains. Going to Longsha, looking back at the mountains and rivers, a line of green is as green as hair. Dear friends, I should remember, the moon is waning on the cuckoo branches.
Commentary
In December of the first year of Emperor Xiangxing of the Southern Song Dynasty (1278), Wen Tianxiang led his troops to continue fighting against the Yuan army. He was defeated and captured. When escorting him to Yanjing, he passed by Jinling, the author wrote this poem in the post as a reward for Deng Yan. The words describe the author's life as a prisoner and the emotions arising from it. Not only would he rather die than surrender, but he also firmly believed that more heroes would rise up and continue the struggle in the future. This poem fully demonstrates the author's loyalty to the Southern Song Dynasty. The noble national integrity is clearly visible.
The first four sentences describe the life of a prisoner. Even if Jiaolongyuan is not an object in the pond, including the author himself, he imagines that one day he can still ride on the clouds to make rain. Wind, rain, and cold further accentuate the misery of the prisoner's life. Hengshang wrote three lines of poems, describing his extraordinary ambitions in terms of civil and martial arts, and placing the burden on himself to put the world in order, quell chaos and support the weak, and restore the family. However, now that he is captured, his lofty ideals have turned into snow in the sky. Even though the river is like this, there are still heroes who put their hope in the future, firmly believe in the patriotic cause, and there will be successors. A ray of light emerges from the misery.
In the next film, the author realizes that his future is like a fallen leaf in late autumn, and he can no longer do anything about the future of his motherland. How can we not be filled with emotion when we return to Huai River? Therefore, the two sentences in the mirror show that although he has changed his beauty in his prison life, his sincere heart of serving the country will never be buried. "Loyalty is hard to die" is the same famous saying that illuminates the ages in the poem "Crossing the Lingding Ocean" where the author left a loyal heart to illuminate history. The three sentences "Go to Longsha" not only express his nostalgia for his motherland, but also express to his friends that when he hears the bloody cry of the cuckoo again, it will be the author's soul turning into a cuckoo and returning to the south. This kind of thoughts and feelings are more obvious in the poem "Jinling Station" written in the same period: From now on, I will leave Jiangnan Road and return as a cuckoo with blood.
This poem deeply demonstrates the noble soul of a patriot in the conflict between life and death, allowing readers thousands of years later to gain ideological lessons and spiritual comfort from the poem. edification.
