Comment on crow's poems

(1) I tried to borrow The End of Sadness from my book:

I tried my best to study and try to alleviate my sadness. Surcease is archaic, meaning to stop the blockade.

The bust of the goddess pallas, pallas is Athena in Greek mythology.

People on earth. Under the moon means under the moon and above the earth.

Some versions have been changed to live people.

Inventory items. This refers to the human language that crows imitate.

(6) pitcher plants

Medicine for forgetting troubles in Greek mythology. Later generally refers to everything that people forget and worry about.

(7) Is there any sesame oil in Gilead?

Here is an ironic quote from the Bible: Is there no sesame oil in Gilead? Not the third time?

Is the doctor there? Gilead doesn't have painkillers? Is there no doctor there?

Gilead is a mountainous area near the Dead Sea, where many medicinal plants grow.

This is a place name of Poxu, which means Eden.

According to the Bible, Gilead on the east bank of Jordan produces an elixir of life, which is made of resin.
