The Legend of Guandi Shizhu
It is said that Guan Yu lived in Cao Ying for twelve years and was not tempted by Cao Cao's generous rewards and salary. He still thought about Liu Bei all the time, day and night. Thinking of returning. Later, after he beheaded Yan Liang and Wen Chou, he learned that Liu Bei was at Yuan Shao's place and was eager to return. But he was afraid that he would be treated as a distinguished guest in Cao Ying. Liu Bei suspected that his heart had changed, so he painted "Wind and Rain Bamboo", borrowing the bamboo's name from the festival and strong, to metaphor that even though he was in Cao Ying, he would not lose his reputation and lose his integrity.
This painting has a unique style, with poems and prose composed of bamboo leaves. From the perspective of painting appreciation, the two bamboos are lifelike, the image is realistic, and the calligraphy does not detract from the painting; from the perspective of calligraphy, the calligraphy is skillfully blended into the painting, the calligraphy and painting are included in the painting, the concept is exquisite, and the art is superb. . Anyone who is lucky enough to watch it will be amazed.
The poem composed of wind and rain bamboo is:
"If you don't thank Dong Jun, the painting will have its own name. Don't think that the lonely leaf is weak, it will never wither for a long time."
Previous The two sentences are shaped like rain bamboo, which means: Bamboo is loved by people and enjoys a high reputation because it is tall and handsome all year round on its own and does not rise or fall due to seasonal changes.
The last two sentences are just like Fengzhu, which means: Don’t dislike the bamboo leaves that are sparse and light, but they are always green and will never wither and wither.
"Dongjun" is a pun. On the surface, it refers to the east wind and spring breeze. It means that if my bamboos don't grow strong without your east wind blowing, I won't be grateful to you. On the other hand, it means "the boss" Cao Cao. , because Guan Gong lived in Cao Gong as a guest at that time. Guan Gong is leaving Cao Cao now to protect his second sister-in-law and find his eldest brother, but he is not grateful to Cao Cao for the gift.
After Guan Yu painted the painting, he sealed it with a gold seal to protect the two emperor's wives and secretly left Cao Ying. After passing five passes and killing six generals, they finally reunited with the two brothers Liu Bei and Zhang Fei.
Later generations carved this wind and rain bamboo painting on a stone stele and called it the Bamboo Stele of Guandi Poems.
