What is the style of Chu Ci?
Chu Ci represents the southern literature in the Warring States period (the poetry of southern Chu in the Warring States period). Liu Xiang, a writer in Han Dynasty, edited the poem Li Sao by Qu Yuan of Chu State and the poems Li Sao by Song Yu (Chu State in the Warring States Period), Mei Cheng and Jia Yi (Han Dynasty). The form and syntax are relatively long, with many "six or seven words". Function words, such as "Xi, Shao, Zhi", are often used to extend tones and are easy to recite. Their rhyme is long and descriptive, which is the first case of "Han Fu". The content style describes personal feelings and fantasies, and the words are extravagant and colorful, full of romance and mystery.
