Messiah is Handel's most important and successful oratorio. The whole song is about three hours long, and Handel finished it in only 24 days. When Han Deer wrote the second "Hallelujah Chorus", Han Deer fell on the table and muttered, "I saw the kingdom of heaven, I saw Jesus!" This sincere and brilliant chorus has gradually become a classic since it came out. "Hallelujah" means to praise and call for reverence for God. This chorus is performed by male and female voices, and the alternation and harmony between the voices are particularly harmonious, with a continuous sense of echo. When Handel wrote Hallelujah Chorus, he must have forgotten himself and all the disturbing worldly things in one go. Music is full of reverence for God. Although its structure is simple and catchy, it has a frightening momentum. Drums and horns make the whole song full of affirmation and enthusiasm, representing the great joy of the world for eternal life. The oratorio Messiah, with the theme of Catholic stories, describes the birth, suffering and redemption of Jesus. The play premiered in Dublin, Ireland on 1742, and it was a very successful charity fundraising performance. The next year, when the play was first staged in London, King George II of England also attended the audience. When the whole play sang the hallelujah chorus, deeply moved George II stood up from his seat and stood quietly listening. This move attracted the audience to stand up, and since then the Hallelujah chorus has become a great song that everyone has to stand up and listen to except the national anthem. [ 1]
