Poetry The major preface is also called the preface to Mao's poems. After the pre-Qin classics were burned by the Qin fire, not much remained, and the "Poetry" was passed down orally. In the early Han Dynasty, there were four families of translators of "Shi", namely Shen Peisheng of Lu, Yuan Gu of Qi, Han Ying of Yan, and Mao Heng of Lu who passed on Mao Chang.
