Sun Wenbo was born in 1956 in Chengdu, Sichuan. He is a contemporary poet. He lived in rural Huayin, Shaanxi Province during his childhood, finished middle school in Chengdu, worked as an "educated youth" and served in the military. He retired and returned to Chengdu in 1979. Now lives in Hangzhou. Began writing poetry in 1985. After 1990, he also engaged in writing poetry criticism. Her works have been translated into English, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish and other languages. In 1996, she won the first "Liu Lian Poetry Award". In June 1998, he was invited to participate in the 29th "Rotterdam International Poetry Festival" in the Netherlands.
