Lying ill and crowded in the gorge, the Xiaoxiang Dongting is empty. It rains constantly in Chutian all year round, and winds often blow thousands of miles from Wu Gorge. The willows in the thatched pavilion on the sand are new and dark, and the lotus in the wild pond beside the city is red.
In late spring, mandarin herons stand in Zhouzhu, flying back to a clump with their cubs in hand.

Allusions to Du Fu
The Tang Dynasty, especially the Tang Dynasty during the reign of Xuanzong, was undoubtedly a veritable big country in the world at that time; but on the surface it seemed The kingdom, which is still strong, is already showing signs of collapse due to many factors including its own hands.
In fact, Xuanzong Li Longji was a very accomplished emperor when he was young. He successively appointed Yao Chong, Song Jing, Zhang Jiuling, Han Xiu and other loyal patriots as prime ministers, vigorously rectified corresponding bad policies, and achieved social and economic improvement. It developed greatly and its comprehensive national strength increased greatly, so much so that it was called the "Kaiyuan Heyday" by later generations. However, Xuanzong later appointed the treacherous Li Linfu as prime minister, and corruption began to appear in politics. In the fourth year of Tianbao (745), after he made Yang Yuhuan his concubine, he indulged in sex, luxury and debauchery, and his politics became increasingly corrupt. After that, he also successively named the sisters who gave jade rings as Mrs. Korea, Mrs. Guo Guo and Mrs. Qin. They entered and exited the palace unscrupulously, and you can imagine their terrifying power that "overwhelmed the world".
And Yang Yuhuan's cousin Yang Zhao also rose to prominence due to Yang Guifei's rise to power. When he was serving as the censor, he was given the name "Guozhong" by Xuanzong to show his favor. In the eleventh year of Tianbao (752), after the death of Li Linfu, Yang Guozhong, who was originally the son of Zhang Yizhi under Wu Zetian but later assumed the surname of Yang, actually became the prime minister; and Xuanzong also handed over the military and political affairs of the country to Yang Guozhong. . At this time, the Yang family, because their brother and sister were "powerful in the world", began to form a party for personal gain, specialize in doing some illegal things, and made the entire court a mess, which finally led to the turning point of the Tang Dynasty's rapid overthrow - the "Anshi Rebellion". occur.
Just like the early stage of all corruption, not only did the Yang brothers and sisters live in debauchery, but Yang Guozhong also shamelessly committed adultery with Mrs. Guo Guo. Their chaotic life was actually condoned by Emperor Xuanzong; while the common people were certainly suffering.
On the Shangsi Festival, which is a traditional festival on March 3rd in the ancient calendar, people went to the waterside to "repair evil spirits" in order to get rid of the ominous atmosphere. In the twelfth year of Tianbao, a group of people from the Yang family not only participated in such an event, but also went to Qujiang for a spring picnic with great fanfare, which was extremely noisy. After the great poet Du Fu learned of this situation, he felt that the actions of those in power who ignored the people's livelihood and only cared about their own enjoyment would definitely lead to the country's downfall. So he wrote angrily and wrote "Three Hundred Tang Poems" which was later selected into the famous anthology. "First" poem, that is, a seven-character long ancient poem titled "Beauty's Journey". The poem has become a veritable "epic" due to its bold satire and profound exposure of the Yang family's hot and luxurious life; and people have also summarized an idiom "hot" from it, which is used to express great arrogance and power.
