The poem "What, Why, How"

Summer, where is winter?

Where is winter and summer?

Where is the darkness of dawn?

When was it? Who is it?

Where is the wind when the leaves are still?

Where does the wind come from and where does it blow?

Where is the sun at night and during the day?

Where is the moon during the day and at night?

Why does the river keep flowing?

Is the lake still?

Can fish swim in the air?

It only rains, can't it fly?

What? Why? How's it going?

Where can I find all these answers?

The adults answered me like this:

You will know everything when you grow up!

But I can't wait to grow up,

Just trying to figure everything out,

Why, too many why,

I've been thinking all day.
